River Retreat - June Special - Free Round of Mini-Golf

Gaze out at the Chattahoochee River from just about every room. Open the windows and listen to the rippling flow of the water. Breathe the fresh air and enjoy the view from the deck or in the hot tub.

This cabin has fully-equipped kitchen and gas grill on the deck for meals cooked at home. Would you rather eat out? River Retreat is within walking distance to downtown Helen! The cozy couch is the perfect spot to snuggle up near the gas fireplace on chilly evenings. The living room television features YouTube TV for your entertainment.

Bring some quarters with you and relive the 80's with a game of Pac-man or any of the other 28 games on the arcade machine upstairs.

The main floor king bedroom has a bath with a walk-in shower. The upstairs king bedroom shares a bath with the guests staying in the loft. This bath features a shower/tub combination and the television is for playing DVDs only. In the loft there is a full size bed for two and a futon for one.

This cabin has the perfect parking for those riding or bringing motorcycles up to the mountains. Please note that River Retreat has 23 steps from parking to the front door. Pets are not allowed at River Retreat.

We liked that the property seemed private, even with houses close by. The direct access to the river was great though all the neighbors used it. The house was nice and worked well for us. We could walk to many places in the town.

Great cabin with lots to offer--only one negative
-My friends and I were very impressed with the River Retreat. You'll be within a 5-7 minute drive to most of the things to do in Helen, or a 15-20 minute walk. -The cabin was well-appointed with plenty of space. I loved that both bedrooms had king beds. -The only downside of the cabin we experienced is its proximity to the waterpark. There will be loud music from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day during the warmer months. You can easily hear it inside the cabin. Other than that, we were very impressed with our visit.

I took my mother and stepmom for a few days of relaxation away from our fur babies and to get away during my Spring Break (I teach special education students). It was absolutely perfect! The unit was immaculate, it was very spacious, and the porch outside listening to the rolling river was absolutely amazing!

Awesome place!
We had a great time! the place was maintained well and we made use of all the amenities. The hot tub, pool table and arcade machine on lower level is where to be! Would return for sure!
