"Beautiful location. Parking situation could be improved as there are no marked parking spots. The food was good at the restaurant, but we had to wait quite a while for it. They did offer a complimentary drink due to our wait. The room was quaint with a lovely view. The shower was small but ok except that the drain was very slow. The hand soap, shampoo, and body wash provided had a strong scent so those who are sensitive may wish to bring their own. "

"The stay we had was just what the doctor ordered. This was not a leisure trip, but my mom lives in Olafsvik, and not well. So we drove there daily during our stay. The cottage is very clean, and well equipped. Location was amazing!!"

"A lovely simple comfortable cottage with stunning views of the volcano and glacier, and views out to the sea. Bring binoculars we saw dolphins from the house. "It was nice and spacious. A lovely location. Issues - Firstly, we arrived to find dirty dishes, garbage still in the bathroom and overall not cleaned properly. This isn't an issue with the owner as they were responsive when we brought it up but still we had to clean. The dirty linens were left in the washer, which we understood would happen.
