GReat hotel between the city and the airport
Wonderful location. Especially very convenient if you attend SLUSH. It's about a €12 ride both ways and €19 to the city. The bus from the airport stops right in front of the hotel. You have a 3 minute walk. The restaurant is good for American cuisine

Good food, bad hours
We were disappointed that no food was available at 10:00 pm. Our flight was late and we were hungry. The hotel is isolated. The breakfast, however, was great!!

Great stay!
Great stay! Though a bit far away from the city centre, it's fine to reach by the bus. A little pity that I didn't use the sauna. Breakfast is hearty and auwsome with many choices.

Great Value Hotel
Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, the pool and sauna (opened 6-10 am and 6-10 pm ) was a welcome boost. and had them both to myself on four of the five times I used them.. The room was clean and functional but the bathroom was very small, fine for me but may not suit a couple/family trying to get ready at the same time. I didn't use the restaurant as eating out is expensive in Finland, I ate as much as I could at breakfast and had a light snack dinner from the local supermarkets. The hotel is located in a quiet residential/office suburb with a number of nice walks but not a lot else. The train station is a 10 min walkaway, along a well lit path and the city center is 3 stops away (2.50 single) there is also a frequent bus service but I didn't use it. Overall I suited me to be slightly outside the city center, I got a great room rate and I found the train easy and very safe to use and would certainly return.

Great stay - no complaints at all
Stayed with my father before catching a flight. Clean rooms, pleasant environment and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was good. Close to bus-stop.

Nice hotel, 20 min drive from centre
Staff was welcoming and friendly. We checked in late, but it wasn't a problem. It looks like hotel was built in the 90's, so some communal areas requires refurbishing, but overall condition is ok.

Convenient to the commuter trains: the Huopalahti station is ten minutes' walk away, and from there it's half an hour by train to the airport (trains run every 15 min), or 10 minutes to downtown Helsinki (running very frequently). The hotel is quite clean, and as a speaker of English but not Finnish, I had no problems.

Good for one night business travel
I stayed here on my own for business. It was very conveniently only a 10 minute drive from my meeting and only a 30 minute-ish drive from the airport. Very presentable and comfortable, but very basic. The rooms were modern and had all the amenities needed but the bathroom was a bit dated and bare. I felt safe here, which is really important to me as a woman traveling alone, and it was very good value for money.

One night stay, comfortable hotel, very good breakfast. Remember to pay for your parking directly outside hotel front door, otherwise its a Euro 60 fine!

Great hotel
I expected this place to be average since I was not paying the normal Helsinki price (I've been around here on and off 3 years). However, the room was fantastic and better than much pricier hotels downtown. The breakfast was very full as well, nothing really being skimped on and parking was also very good.

My Review of Best Western Helsinki
Overall, a very nice, clean hotel. The location isn't the best, but it isn't difficult trip. There is no nightlife in the area, but this hotel caters mainly to a more mellow crowd, not drunken college students. For the price, the rooms should've included a microwave. It doesn't make sense, since each room has a fridge. Some of the staff isn't as friendly as I'm used to from pricey hotels, but it could be because I'm from America.

Hotellilla on maukas aamiainen, erityisesti pienet letut mansikkahillolla jäi mieleen. Nykyaikainen kuntosali on ilmainen hotelliketjun kortilla. Hotelli on mainio vaihtoehto keskustan ulkopuolella.

森の散歩も楽しめて、バスの便も良いホテル
森の前なので、朝夕散歩が楽しめます。いろいろな方面への各バス停留所がすぐ近くにあり、大変便利。 朝食も品数多くおいしいです。私が行った時はレストランに日本語を話すスタッフもいてよかったです。

風景は良いです
初日、すでに部屋の隅に埃があり、珈琲や紅茶を置いてあるトレーにも埃がありました。 シャワールームの掃除は２日に一度です。ベッドは整えてあるのがまだ救い…。 朝食は美味しかったです。

Schönes Hotel im Aussenbezirk von Helsinki
Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und in direkter Nähe eine Bushaltestelle. Die nächste Bahnhaltestelle ist 10min Fußweg entfernt. Die Rezeption war kurz angebunden, allerdings nicht unfreundlich, was ich aber auf die Schweigsamkeit der Finnen zurückschließe. Das Zimmer war unerwartet groß und hatte alles was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Mit dem Bus war man in 10min in der Innenstadt von Helsinki. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr umfangreich und von sehr guter Qualität. Zwar hat das Hotel viele zusätzliche Sonderangebote, jedoch fallen für alle zusätzliche Kosten an.

Trivsamt hotell för vårt aktuella ändamål.
En tredagars vistelse för en konferens, 10 min från hotellet. Mycket bra för detta ändamål i närheten av flygplatsen och Helsingfors.

Konsertti/shoppailumatka kaupunkiin.
Mukava, perustarpeet täyttävä hotelli. Rauhallinen sijainti hitusen kaukana keskustasta, mutta bussit kulkevat läheltä ja usein. Huone oli siisti, ja aamiainen maukas ja riittävä. Iso plussa todella mukavasta respan väestä!

Olin työasioissa yhden yön hotellissa ja kaikki toimi sujuvasti. Huoneen lämpö oli säädetty +25 asteeseen, enkä osannut säätää lämpö alemmaksi. Enkä löytänyt käyttöohjetta, ehkä ei ollut tarkoitettu itse säädettäväksi, mutta onneksi sai ikkunaa auki. Parkkihallista plussaa. =)

Aamupalalla surkein tarjoilu ikinä gluteenittomia tuotteita. Oli paahtoleipää, näkkäriä ja mysliä. Muut veti lettuja ja piirakoita, röstiperunaa jne. Olen myös maidolle allerginen, mulle ei siis käy edes munakokkeli. Kaurapuurokaan ei sopinut minulle kun se ei ollut gluteeniton kaurahiutale. Söin siis paahtoleivän kalkkunansiivulla. Jogurtit ei käy maitoallergian vuoksi. Olin surullinen.
