Customer service was very professional. Rooms were large compared to most European-sized rooms. The rooms were very clean and close enough to Schiphol airport.

Parking isn't included. the 'free' parking is down the road but it was very confusing. I went to leave the car in the area suggested and someone told me I couldn't park there. There was another area but it looked like it was for 'park' parking. So just ended up paying the 17.50 Euro's to park at the hotel. The restaurant staff was over-run when we where there (took over 30 min to get seated and drink order in). Staff was trying hard just short staffed.

This is not the property to book if you are looking for something centrally located with good access to transportation. Their “shuttle” which supposedly comes to the airport is never punctual. The “on site casino & bowling alley” are about a 5 minute walk from the front entrance but don’t bother taking the walk they’re both mediocre. The only food options are the overpriced “restaurant” and “marketplace” located in the lobby. I spent $60 just on two burgers in two days. Having “airport” in the name of the hotel is a joke as well. Hotel isn’t in close proximity to the airport at all and I spent €50 on a taxi from the airport to get there. The staff was actually very nice and respectful, that’s the hotels only saving grace. If you’re looking for a place to get away and not experience any of Amsterdam this is your place. If you’d actually like to experience Amsterdam I’d recommend staying far away from here as possible

Was OK. Cleanliness wasn't great within the room and housekeeping came round at a weirdly late time (about 5pm) so we were sometimes back in the room by the time hey appeared and didn't massively want them in. The shower drain was also blocked and the shower head leaked which wasn't ideal but we could live with it for the short stay (yes we reported these things and no they weren't rectified). On arrival we were charged our room cost (that's fine) then asked for 200 euro's as a "deposit". For what we were paying this deposit for I have no idea as extras such as meals and drinks in the bar were charged separately and not taken out of this deposit so I still don;t know hat we were depositing for (the hotel description said a credit card is taken on arrival which is pretty standard but it's weird to have to pay 200 euro's with the conversion charge as an extra before you've checked in). This took a few days to come back to my card once we'd checked out as well. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere which is fine as the map/description was accurate, but it would have been nice if staff had helped with travel advice into Amsterdam as it was our first visit and when asked they advised us to google it which was a bit random too. All in all ok - but overall won't seek it out specifically next time I head over to Amsterdam.

It's disappointing that the cleanliness of the room was below your expectations and that housekeeping arrived at an inconvenient time. Additionally, the maintenance problems with the shower drain and the leaking shower head must have been frustrating. It's understandable that you were confused about the deposit. It's unclear why the hotel required a separate deposit of 200 euros, especially since it wasn't used to cover meals and drinks as you expected. It's also unfortunate that it took a few days for the deposit to be refunded to your card after you checked out. While the hotel's remote location was accurately described, it's a valid point that the staff could have been more helpful with providing travel advice to Amsterdam, especially for first-time visitors like yourselves. Suggesting that you "google it" doesn't seem very accommodating. It's unfortunate that these issues combined to create a less-than-ideal experience for you. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced if you book in advance on Expedia, but much more expensive in person. €19.90 per person. Overall hotel was nice if you’re traveling but if you’re looking to go out nearby, Hoofdoorp is rather dull. Good airport option.
