Friendly and helpful staff and room was excellent. Only stayed for one night but would love to return to explore the area and would definitely stay at the Queens Arms.

What a lovely place! We upgraded and had the room with a large spa bath. I would recommend that for anyone who is staying for a leisurely stay as the bath is amazing! The rooms are a good size, has all the amenities and clean. The attached pub has a good selection of food, and everything we had was really good. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was really tasty. Overall it would be unfair to give less than a 5 as everything was amazing and lived up to, or surpassed, our expectations. Highly recommended

Totally exceeded expectations, food is to die for.
We loved our stay mostly because the pub is outstanding. The food is really special, best meal we've had for quite some time and the service was excellent. The restaurant is very nice with tasteful decor and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was also very nice and once again, very attentive and professional waiting staff. Our room was good, clean and with a very comfortable bed. The tea and coffee making facilities were standard. The view was lovely (picture attached). It was very quiet. The bathroom was ok but could really do with a little updating. It has a shower over the bath and to reach in to switch it on you either had to soak yourself or the floor. There was some black mould around the bath which is really easy to get rid of with a bit of bleach. It was a tiny bit disappointing, but only a tiny bit. I would go back again in a heartbeat for the food and the pub. Makes me tempted to move to the village!

Good overnight stay
The Queens Arms was a very nice over night stay the staff were all very good especially the manager and the food was very tasty from evening meal to morning breakfast the only problem which was of no fault of the hotel was a very annoying loud American lady who seemed to want the whole restaurant to hear everything she was talking about and boy could she talk she didn’t stop for breath to the extent us and the man sitting next us cut short our meals just to get some peace from her!

The service was very good and staff very polite and helpful. There was only one thing was under the bed there was a lot of fluff that looked like it had been there awhile.

Really lovely countryside pub and hotel. We were in the area for a wedding and they kindly allowed us to check-in slightly earlier which we really appreciated! Lovely breakfast in the morning and great shower. Perfect pub hotel for a stay in the Lambourn area!

We especially like the restaurant at the Queens Arms. If we were to be very picky, then the shower could have been better. Overall though one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

The room and bathroom was clean and spacious although tired and worn. The tv didn’t work and the Sky connection was extremely poor. The breakfast was good but dinner was average.

We booked this property as a convenient stop after a long flight into Heathrow. The folks were friendly; had my favourite ale (Landlord) and the food was first class!

Excellent stay
Excellent stay in Many Clouds room (unlike Bluebells on previous visit which was noisy, uneven floor, involving stairs). I cannot fault any aspect of our stay and would like to stay in this room again when we rebook for a return visit in November if at all possible please.

Comfortable upmarket pub/restaurant
Comfortable bed. Good shower. Excellent breakfast. Very lively atmosphere in the restaurant! Insufficient car parking. Our room Bluebells faced directly onto the exit and car park and was noisy until late evening when everyone had left the pub/restaurant. Ironically I had requested a quiet room! A final bill issue where 10 percent had been added to the whole bill (room and meal) was rectified when I queried the additional sum requested. Overall I will use again and hopefully none of these negative aspects will be repeated.

Absolute gem with free breakfast
Check-in was a bit hectic due to a crazily busy event after apparently the biggest horse race of the year, but still the host was friendly, and check in was easy. He apologised for the noise but once in the room we couldn’t hear it in the slightest. Lovely room, bigger than expected. Comfy bed, great shower. Couldn’t hear people in the next rooms, but loud corridor/floorboards. Fantastic breakfast included. Absolutely delightful, really hope to stay again.

Pleasant inn with good food in beautiful village.
Excellent food, especially breakfast. Friendly attentive staff. Located in a really beautiful little village only 15 minutes from Hungerford and the M4. Room, food and drink prices reasonable by today’s standards so good VFM. The only negative was that our room White Horse seemed to be above a main door, so there was a constant thump from below until closing time.
