Great getaway
The cottage was perfect for a weekend stay for my husband and I. We used this as a "baby moon" getaway before we are a family of 3. The short walk to the beach was perfect, even for a pregant momma. Close to Main street where you can find all types of great food. Also, a shirt distance to other towns in the area. I woukd definitely stay here again.

Perfect Beach Cottage
We absolutely loved our stay at The Breakwaters. The cottage was exactly as advertised! It was super clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed for our delightful 4 night stay. The location was perfect, steps away from a very lovely, quiet beach and blocks away from downtown shops and restaurants. We also appreciated our host Steve, for his communications and his recommendations. We highly recommend The Breakwaters and Steve!

Super Cozy
The cottage was immaculate. Perfect for our needs. Including location… proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great starting point for everything on the Cape as well as being not that far from Boston, Salem, Worcester and Fall River, everything we wanted to do…. Did I mention immaculate; super clean and fresh smelling. We above all appreciated the communication from the property manager/host. We have stayed with VRBO lots of times and this was the Best

Beautiful Getaway
Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Steps to the Ocean. Location provides easy access to the whole of Cape Cod and beyond. Stephen was an attentive host. We could not have asked for more.

Fantastic Stay Steps from the Beach
The communications to book, get directions, make inquiries were exceptional and immediate. Steve was fantastic in following-up, checking if everything was OK and even offering early check-in. The property is fantastically located not only steps from the beach but also at the heart of Cape with easy access to all parts as well as ferries to Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket. The house is impeccably clean, has beautiful beach decor, separate parking, easy access by code. Everything worked perfectly and it was truly a home away from home. Thank you Steve for being such a fantastic Host.

This little cottage is exactly as described. Exceptionally clean and obviously well cared for. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets were soft and the bath towels were fluffy. Nicer than what I have at home !! We would definitely stay here again.

Carefree Cape Cod Stay
Just steps from the beach with space outdoors to enjoy the weather. Views of the water from front door and outside table. The space was clean, well-maintained and ready at check-in. Easy check-in process with the owner very responsive and wanting to make my stay the best possible. Only issue I had was finding the pool mentioned on the check-directions. If I would have ignored that aspect I would have found location sooner. Granted it was dark and winter time during my visit. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely Spot on the Cape for Off-Season Getaway
We loved our visit to the Breakwaters 4B for a weekend getaway from the city in Winter. The Cape had received a fresh coating of snow and the snowy beach was perfect. The cozy little cottage was clean and fully equipped for our friends getaway. Best for 2-4 people. Love that you provide linens and towels not something many VRBOs do in Maine. Steve was the perfect host and attentive to all our needs. We'd love to come back in other shoulder seasons but before the crowds. Thanks Steve!

Just what we needed
The cottage is just what my family and I needed. It was quaint and extremely clean. It was very quiet since it was Winter time and it was perfect. The beach front is just seconds away and easily accessible. You can see the water from the front door which made waking up a treat. The sunset in the distance was beautiful. Stephen the host is a pleasure to deal with. We would love to come back. We looked for Summer options but it was completely booked and I can see why. Thank you again Steve.

Cozy Cottage on the Cape
This was a wonderful stay, just the right size for a couple. (It is a bit small for two couples.) The beach is close by and the water was very calm while we were there. Also close to the downtown area - highly recommend the Daily Paper on Main for breakfast and the Portside Tavern. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Perfect beach cottage
Very welcoming and feels private. The ocean is visible from the front door and easy to walk to. Very clean and cozy. I needed to communicate with Steve a couple of times and he responded immediately. I will definitely book this property again.

Lovely Cottage; Delightful Stay
The cottage is as sweet as its description. The water is just steps away. It is conveniently within distance of Main Street and its restaurants and shops. There’s a walking trail along the water and across from the marshes. Steve, our host, was friendly, supportive and gracious.

A lovely beach cottage!
We had the best weekend staying at Breakwater! The location was amazing- just steps to the beach with great views from the patio and living room! Perfect Getaway

A Wonderful Respite
The property itself is just steps to the beach. The cottage is warm and inviting with lovely furnishings. The location is very accessible to Main Street Hyannis with its many shops and restaurants. Or if you prefer to cook yourself, you are welcome to do that, too. There is a small patio area from which you can see the ocean. This was our second stay. We went for a long weekend.

Lovely, clean and charmingly decorated cottage just yards from beach. Well-appointed with thoughtful touches including beach chairs, patio furniture, etc. Interaction with owner excellent and he was immediately responsive to replace a defective toaster oven. On site property manager was also visible and friendly. As two older women we felt very safe and able to completely relax!

The cottage was perfect for our family of four. We loved being just a short walk from the beach and close to the main shopping and restaurant area in town. It’s also very centrally located to other areas of the cape. Everything was clean and check in/out was very easy. Steve was also very helpful with suggestions and easy to reach with questions. Wonderful cottage in a perfect location
We loved everything about our stay at Steve's cottage in Hyannis. The location was literally just steps from the beach. It was really nice to be able to run back and grab a bite to eat or something to drink. The cottage itself was very well decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week there. The outside space was wonderful and nicely shaded. We also really loved the proximity to the cute town of Hyannis. It was about a one mile walk there, and we found ourselves walking in most mornings to our new favorite coffee shop, Chez Antoine Cafe. We would definitely love to stay in Steve's cottage again when we return to this area.

The cottage was beautiful and a just what our family needed for a seven day relaxing vacation. It’s located at the halfway mark of the Cape for easy travel to other locations to visit and explore the sites of Cape Cod. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you would need for a family of four. We enjoyed our time at the cottage as well as the neighborhood and will definitely be back in the future. Stephen was a gracious, kind and accommodating host.

Perfect beach cottage
Our family of four stayed here extending our visit with extended family. The location was fantastic! Wi-Fi was very strong and reliable as one of us worked remotely a few days. It was just a block from Keyes beach so catching the various tides and sunsets was so easy. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen necessities to make cooking meals easy. The checkin/out was smooth and easy as well. We look forward to visiting again and plan to return given our wonderful, comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

Cottage weekend get away
This was a lovely discovery for our family. The cottage is very well maintained, love the architecture, the rooms are cute and cozy, and the property was impeccable. It’s super close to the beach the kids were able to play and run around without any worries since the beach was not over crowded. The host Steve was great at communicating with us. Overall a great choice to come relax to the Cape and super close to the Highlime and Steamship in case you like to visit the islands. Will be returning here soom!!!

Off season long w/e rental. Place was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable and nice that linens and towels provided ( saves packing). Everything you need is there and nice ocean view from the patio. Beach is so close you can hear the waves at high tide. Great shell picking. Fantastic restaurants and shops w/in walking distance. Our cottage was just perfect for us 3 senior sisters.Loved the view of the beach so near to us.And our walks along.The area was very peaceful . We were able to navigate by car easily to see the sights and explore the restaurants for that delicious seafood.Stephens instructions were good. And he was available when we needed his advice.All in all a lovely stay.
