Property was situated 10minutes wslk from centre.Room ok but dark so much so we did not notice small sign ssyinv to sdk staff to make up bed in morning. One cup was chipped and when I asked owner for replacement and for room to be made up i was told very sternly that since Covid they didnt make up rooms..I said it was part of the experience to have a tidy bed and fresh towels..The price was London prices and with cheap products for brealfast it was not value for money.

This nice small hotel is very walkable with on-street parking right out front overnight. You do have to move the car to the end of the block for parking during the day for a small charge. The breakfast is lovely. The room is quite large by European standards. The wifi is iffy especially during busy times. Overall, we recommend this as a place to stay in lovely Inverness. It is quite convenient.

Reasonable walking distance into main point of town across river. Walls were a bit then and you could hear your neighbors. Otherwise a comfortable place with nice staff. On street parking in front sounded worrisome online but actually wasn’t an issue for us.

The room was spacious and had plenty of storage areas. We appreciated makings for the tea and coffee. Our room was two doors from the front entrance, so it was extra noisy in the evening and morning. The WiFi didn’t work for us and the toilet didn’t flush properly. These are old building problems, and probably to be expected.

The staff were absolutely fantastic from the very second we arrived to the last second we departed. The property is impeccably maintained, the cleanliness is faultless. An excellent place to stay in Inverness that delivers very good value for money. If you’re staying in Inverness and the Glencairn is available, book it, you won’t regret it.

This accommodation is located in the perfect spot. We had a beautiful large room ( Room # 1) and the staff were friendly and nice. On the down side the location of our room was quite noisy as it was above reception/ dining hall. The mattress (hard as a rock) and pillows ( very flat) really need replacing. Overall the convenience, location, and nice rooms outweigh any negatives.

An absolute gem
Stayed in house number 19. Immaculate throughout. Well decorated. It is obvious the owners and staff take pride in the business. Breakfast had a excellent choice and staff were very pleasant. No evening meal service but a short walk into the city centre where there was a huge choice of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Very convenient, easy walk ability, but the room we had was definitely wore out. The beds were not comfortable in the pillows were flat is pancakes.

You could walk to the main dining and shopping area within 10 minutes along the beatiful River Ness. Laundry facilities were a short walk, as well. Lovely king-sized bed and great internet.

Stayed for two nights in August. Hotel was very clean, and very good repair and the staff were lovely. Room was tiny but we were still comfortable. Nice neighborhood and close walking distance to amenities.
