"I had read some bad reviews about this property but I thought it was excellent! Nice, quiet, comfortable room and bed, great helpful staff and a lovely breakfast each day. Walkable to the beach and amenities in 5-10mins. Easy free parking (I stayed in April/May but from 1st June to 1st September I was told that is when the parking is chargeable). If you want entertainment and a party destination, go to Albufeira. If you want a relaxed and chilled place, Monte Gordo is great and so is this hotel....

Not that noise would have been a problem as the hotel does not front onto a busy road as we thought it did. "At the end of three week road trip with friends all over Portugal and Andalusia Spain we booked a night at your lovely hotel! The pool was beautiful and very relaxing with a great bar took a nap in the sun!
