Beautiful home on the ocean
The location is beautiful, the home modern and the host is so friendly (not to mention the chillest dog Brody who is just a handsome lad). There’s lovely little bar and restaurant a couple minutes up the road where you can grab dinner. Note - this part of the island is really away from it all which makes it wonderful. Just know you’re not staying in a big town

This was not a B & B as advertised , never informed that we couldn’t get breakfast as we had paid for and given a small room with no view.

Im sorry that it was not made obvious that breakfast was not included. The rate for the room reflects the fact that it doesn't have a view and that breakfast was not included, just room only. However I did provide a breakfast as you did not have transport and also gave you free reign in the lounge area where you could sit and relax and watch TV.

Julia is a charming and gracious hostess. She is a talented painter too and her dog Brody complements the friendly atmosphere. The views from Knoydart of the ageless mountains of the mainland, across the wide expanse of water, are simply mesmerising. The room we had was very small though.

Quiet peaceful setting in a very small village atmosphere. Very nice comfortable rooms with a beautiful healthy breakfast and a warm host.

Julia is an excellent host. She serves a lovely breakfast with a gorgeous ocean view. Her home is lovely and the rooms are very comfortable and did i mention the view.

A beautiful location with a friendly welcome and of course stunning views over the Sound to Knoydart. The house is immaculate and close to some good walks and a great bike ride to Tarskavaig over the pass. The breakfast was good and the local pub is just a 5 minute walk away.

Julia (The owner) was fantastic with the care and planning for our comfort. She explained everything well, and the room came equipped with everything we could have needed. Julia's dog was an absolute pleasure to be around and was so friendly, and arguably one of the best bits of staying here. The bathroom was a tad small for us, however it does the job and you can only do so much with the space given. Again, otherwise we great stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering staying. All the best to Julia and her dog Brodie :)

The view was breathtaking and the owner is absolutly amazing. Breakfast was always fantastic to wake ip to and start the day with some delicious food :)

Isle of Skye Rejuvenation
This was an amazing stay. First time solo in a very long time and the property is not only beautiful, clean and cozy, but also right on the water so you can watch the ferries come across or the whales jumping. The Innkeeper, Julia, is phenomenal and makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. Arrival day, I missed the last ferry and had to drive around and cross the Skye bridge so did not arrive until very late in the evening. There was Julia and George (her collie) waiting for me with a dinner plate-thank goodness!!! I was starving! Her property is in a nice quiet part of the Isle of Skye if you are looking for something away from the touristy areas. The views driving up from Glasgow were absolutely stunning!! And I would definitely do it all over again. KnoydART is certainly the best kept secret for the Isle of Skye. I WILL be going back possibly in the fall!!

Das war unsere erste Reise nach Scotland und ich bin davon ausgegangen , dass B&B mit Frühstück ist. Da auch in anderen Bewertungen über Frühstück gesprochen wurde. Fotos haben auch den Eindruck gemacht, dass es mit Küchen Bereich und Esszimmer ist. Das war für uns eine Enttäuschung, da die Möglichkeiten zum Frühstück nicht zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Also ist es nur Übernachtung, mit sehr nette Besitzerin und schönen Ausblick.

Die Einrichtung bezeichnet sich als B&B, bietet aber weder Frühstück an, noch kann die Kücheneinrichtung genutzt werden. Zimmer sehr klein. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht angemessen. Julia allerdings zeigte sich sehr hilfsbereit.

Thank you for your review Johannes. Im very sorry you felt that the price performance ratio was not adequate.Due to personal circumstances I recently reluctantly made the choice to offer room only after 10 years of offering breakfast. I recommend lovely local places to have breakfast nearby.The other option was to not open the rooms at all, given the shortage of accommodation on Skye in the busy season I decided to open the room. I have 3 rooms and the one you booked is the smallest and is reflected in the price. I had long discussions with the expedia team regarding pricing and we compared other accommodation providers in the area with a view to set a fair price . I made it clear that you could sit and relax in the kitchen/dining room at any time and enjoy the view.

Le bedandbreakfast a une vue imprenable. Tout était bien, possibilité de pouvoir aller dans les parties communes ainsi que sur la terrasse. Le déjeuner était bien. Un restaurant à 2 minutes du bb.super bon et bon accueil de jeunes dynamiques Le seul bémol la chambre et la salle de bains beaucoup trop petits. À proximité du ferry

Parfait
Nous avons passé trois nuits chez Julia. Un séjour parfait, le meilleur qu'on ait eu durant notre passage en écosse. Une vue incroyable pour le petit déjeuner, une hôte très accueillante et attentionnée qui cuisine pour vous au petit déjeuner. L'endroit est propre et moderne. Un bon restaurant à moins de 5 minutes à pied et la possibilité de garer votre véhicule dans la cour. Julia est peintre, son atelier/galerie sont dans le jardin, là encore un très bel endroit. Vous ferrez également la connaissance de Georgie qui adore jouer à la balle.
