Spacious, open first floor gives your group plenty of relaxing space. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two main-floor bedrooms, one with a full size bed and one with bunk beds, and a bath with a claw-foot tub. The winding staircase takes you to the master bedroom, master bath that has a jacuzzi tub, and in-house laundry.

Outside, the open patio gives you a great view of the canal which leads to Wampler's Lake. Relax by the fire pit, chat with friends while enjoying the patio umbrella, table and chairs, or go for a stroll through the welcoming neighborhood.

Recent upgrades include a new front patio & steps, and a new seawall and dock. Fresh lawn to go along with the upgrades means there's great space for yard games and for everyone to play.

You are a short walk to Jerry's Pub and only minutes to drive to Hayes State Park, downtown Brooklyn, and MIS speedway featuring NASCAR and Faster Horses. Enjoy the many attractions the Irish Hills has to offer such as antique shops, wineries, and local festivals.

Great Family Get Together
Wampler’s Lake Cottage is a good halfway point between Cleveland and Chicago for our family. The cottage is clean and orderly, stocked with supplies. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 dogs. Neighborhood is very friendly! Check in and Check out was seamless with the host providing detailed instructions. Nice area by the lake and within walking distance to Jerry’s Pub which is such a cool place. We also visited Tecumseh for hiking and shopping. Would definitely return to the cottage.

Ladies Weekend
This is our second time staying here. Great location, close to Jerry’s Pub which is lots of fun. Clean and plenty of room for our group of 8 ladies. Property manager was easy to contact and easy to work with..even left us a nice surprise for our second visit! Would recommend to anyone that wants a nice getaway. Kitchen was also well stocked for our needs.

Girls Trip experience
A group of girl friends and I were just looking for a quick trip away and some wine tasting. Eric’s place was everything we were looking for from location and space. We were within walking distance from Jerry’s Pub and enjoyed going there and the karaoke. We were within 10 minutes of two wineries, which we enjoyed very much along with the live music there. Eric was very quick and responsive with any questions we had and the space was awesome. We were able to enjoy the view of the canal at night and the neighbors around were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would definitely book with Eric again at this Wamplers lake cottage.

Nice comfy cottage on the canal
Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay and found the cottage very comfortable. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock, playing board games, having a campfire each night. We appreciated the amenities and the comfy beds! Nice little neighborhood, Easy walk to Jerry’s Pub to enjoy dinner, karaoke night and live music. Only bummer for us was that our pontoon did not fit under the bridge to get to the house, luckily we found an alternate spot for it to stay but if you have a lower pontoon, fishing or-speed boat style it would most likely fit. We saw plenty make it through. It did not ruin our stay, we would still stay there again and recommend to friends.
