Elevators were not working and no discount was offered due to inconvenience. Had to carry heavy luggage up to 3rd floor with a hurt shoulder. I understand things happens and equipment breaks, but a discount should have been provided.
Staff was excellent. However, the bedspread smelled stale. Holiday Inn needs to think about changing it’s detergent brand and have something with more deodorant or fragrance.
You can always count on Holiday inn Express. They are always clean and the staff is always friendly. The only thing I wish they would update is there technology. You cannot stream TV apps on their televisions because they are not smart TVs. You have to have a Roku with you in order to be able to do that. And you cannot charge your phone if you do not have a cube to bridge the gap between your charger cord and receptacle. There are no places that you can directly plug in a charger cord without using a cube.

Stay was good. We had our dog and pet friendly environment was good
One problem was that toilet was ridiculously low. I am not handicapped but this toilet was lower than standard height and I am 70 and had difficulty getting up and down and there was no grab bar. It really made stay less than ideal

Water pressure for the shower was not good.
