"Lovely room nice bath excellent breakfast. Helpful pleasent staff. Easy plentiful parking. Also ate there twice. Several tourist attractions within walking distance several more within a short drive. Excellent and relaxing stay."

"We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The location was great as we could walk everywhere and Margaret was so easy the communicate with. The lodge was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay again."

24 Jun 2019Two restaurants on Main St were fully booked, so book on Saturdays for sure. Back to pub at Abbey Square for lovely fish supper but lucky to get served; kitchen closed at 8pm and we arrived at 8.10pm. Fish fry was all that was available; but v good.
