"This resort was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity. The only reason that I did not give it a perfect review was due to the really weird design of the window in the bedroom. It was a corner window that faced into the outdoor entrance to the condo. "I was perfectly fine with the hotel until I saw what my money could have gotten me at the Waikoloa Beach Mariott. When you compare the two…hands down I would have much rather stayed in Waikoloa. "Overall our stay at The Royal Kona Resort was amazing. Our ocean front view from our balcony was incredible. As they say.....location, location, location. The Luau on the property was great. Our dinners at Don's Maitai and tiki bar were the best. Really only one complaint. They have a 2 cup coffee maker in the room. We went to Walmart on the first night and bought a $13 12 cup coffee maker.Problem solved."
