"What can I say... this was by far our best trip to County Clare yet. My family and I have been to Clare many times, and this was by far the best location, and best setup Cottage we've used. Ann is great from a communication prospective, and everything in the cottage is well appointed. The presence of a natural peat fireplace was a real plus, as I enjoy the ambiance tremendously. For the Americans reading this there is a SEPERATE Washer and Dryer, which is a huge plus when coming from the States,...

Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away. "Pros: - beautiful interior design has a luxurious yet cozy feel - warm and comfy, a great getaway from the winter storms outside - walls of windows make for an amazing view - all the amenities you need for your stay (we cooked, made coffee, listened to music on their Bluetooth speaker, took a bath) - short walk/drive to a convenience store/gas station - finding it was easy with Google maps (but there’s no signage otherwise) Cons - none! "Spiddal Cottage was delightful! Both rooms were spacious, the living room was lovely, the kitchen small but with all the necessary appliances. We didn't ever cook there, so I can't say anything about the pots, pans, spices, etc. The mattresses were quite firm. Bring your own entertainment if you want to watch something. The wifi worked great and we had access to the washing machine, which was very nice. Patsy was accommodating and super nice! The area was stunning, and a great place for a ferry...

"The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. "

"We had an excellent stay in the cabins. They were clean, quiet, private, very well equipped, and in a fantastic location. The art workshop with Lorraine Fletcher in the nearby Burren Sanctuary was also a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the cabins."

"Kinvara is a good location for exploring Galway and County Clare. The property is fine with plenty of space and well equipped. We even managed to use the Hot Tub which was very rewarding as the weather forecast for the week was not very very good."
