"Reading some of the reviews here made me almost cancel the reservation people. Please be kind when you review a place that the only shortcoming it’s is location on the hills on top of the seashore, which was a perfect location for us to feel loved was for bedroom amazing view, amazing pool. Everything was just perfect. There is a need to take a ride from the bottom of the hill to the top of the place where the villa is how ever it’s worth while, you can get a taxi driver to pick you up for a few...

"Stayed in most basic wooden hut and got what we paid for. Mosquito ridden and although we immediately went and bought an extra plug in deterrent and room spray there was no keeping them out as there were gaps in the flooring! Our room had many maintenance issues including no lock inside door, a broken bathroom door handle, tap that sprayed out to side not into basin, the whole bathroom constantly stank from the drains...could go on... The family were very friendly and refreshed bottled water,...

"We booked Aaliyah garden resort a week before travelling after a cancellation from Expedia for our original hotel! As accommodation during full moon gets booked up so far in advance, we just booked whatever we could find. We were a little apprehensive but on arrival all that changed. The bungalows are so cute, yes they are basic but have everything you need - including little toiletries in the shower! The best thing about staying here is definitely the staff, Aaliyah - the lady that owns it...

"Very good price for a beach front hostel. It does get more expensive during full moon week and you are encouraged to stay for 5 days. Everything was great other than the staff. The one guy (reminds me of Jaffar from Aladdin) was extremely lazy and stubborn. It is annoying at first but it is fine as long as you use his laziness to your advantage (ie. Do things you usually aren't aloud to do because he does not care)"
