Great location on La Digue
Cocotier Du Rocher is a great spot to stay on La Digue. 6-8 minute bike ride to the main village, and 15-20 minutes by bike to Grand Anse and Anse Source d'Argent. My room was very spacious with AC, ceiling fan and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are really nice as well... definitely get the island vibe. Stephan was super cool and helpful. He hooked me up with bike rental, shuttle to/from the ferry, and even some laundry. Note: Try to book ferry in advance as it can fill up at peak times.

Hidden gem
Very good stay, made it easier by Stephan the Manager/Front Desk. Surrounding area is a real nature reserve with a hotel inside, that’s how it feels. Recommend highly.

Don’t hesitate to stay here.
Great stay. Stephan was amazing. He arranged everything we needed from transportation to restaurants and beaches, also with bicycle rental and even exchanging money. We stayed for two days and by the time we left I felt like I have made a great friend. Please don’t hesitate to stay here. He also arranged to have someone come and make us breakfast in the morning at our cottage which was very tasty. Omelette with vegetables and many fresh fruit and bread and fresh juice. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The cottages are cozy and comfy and the air works perfect. It’s a short bicycle ride to great take away spots for food. There is a 7-Eleven type store right at the entrance to the property. Wonderful stay.

Its a pleasant and cozy place with great service. We got lot of information and activities booking support from the staff. You can rent bikes within the property although you can get slightly better bikes outside. You can reach Stephan at any time.

The apartment is surrounded by a lot of trees and plants, as a result it felt private, even though there was an apartment next door. The area is quiet so it is a great place to get away and relax. The housekeeping was excellent and everything was clean. The staff are very friendly and can assist with booking activities and bike rental. We will definitely return.

Awesome place to stay!
It’s an amazing place. Stephan was very helpful during the stay. There is a convenience store next to the property. A local taxi was arranged to visit various attractions in the island.

Cocotier was a wonderful place to stay on La Digue! We had a very nice stay; the staff ware extremely friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. The garden is beautiful & our room had everything we needed and was spacious. The bike rental process was smooth and easy. Would highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous spacious cottage set in beautiful gsrdens
This family run self catering chalets business set in lovely tropical gardens allowing privacy and peace. The chalet was clean & spacious & well equipped, there was ample space for my husband, myself and our teenage daughter. The accommodation is a short bike ride away from beaches and town. We dealt largely with Stephan who was efficient, friendly and very helpful at all times. Would definitely return!

Lovely lodge accommodation in ok location for amenities and restaurant. Great service and welcome from owner. Just ensure you take insect repellent and bite cream as lots of bugs and insects.

The location is great, The staff are friendly and professional and ready to help with everything. We really really loved the place. Very nice house separated and surrounded by a beautiful garden giving you a perfectly isolated garden and balcony. We cannot recommend it enough! Hope to be able to visit back again soon!

Value For Money
Everything was as described from the beginning the end with Stefan, his mom and their Coco Sek villa of our 6-day stay on La Digue. We found the location very conveniently central - just close enough from the livelier area of the West / NW coasts and far enough for peace n quiet. Avoid the street hustlers - Stefan offers best bikes and is quick to arrange for fixes or changes e.g. seats or locks. We have not tried tours, however all other tips and recommendations such as Boleme take away diner were spot on. The lodge offered nice room with a fan/AC )slightly loud), spacious bathroom, kitchen with a full sized fridge and a good quality/clean at that and an outside cold shower plus a hammock right out of our terrace. It was very comfortable to sleep there and sit outside for food. As a bonus there is even a pole for breaking coconuts. Summarizing, it is all the visitors need for a self-catering stay, great starting point for touring the Island by bike as they say. UPSIDES: - location, garden charm - fully equipped kitchen for cooking, tins, ready meals, toasts - local phone/phoneline useful for calling ferries/other hotels/airlines and the host himself DOWNSIDES: - since reception was manned approx 9-6 the complex is free to roam for anyone - safe has a classic key, not a pin security - termites are slowly taking over the front door GENERAL TIP: - shop on Mahe if planning groceries on LaDigue, also the Island is small and suffers from opportunistic thief.

Conveniently located, feels like home
Upon arrival we were greeted by Stephan who did a wonderful job of telling us where everything is and annotating map with points interest, as well as with whatever we asked for that is needed. He and his mom took great care of us answering questions and helping us with whatever we needed, like the bikes. Speaking of bikes, the bikes provided were in good condition and at the average price, so no need for you to struggle with doing this yourself. The central location of the hotel means you are not too far from all the attractions on the island, so no matter what you want to do, it's all a reasonable bike ride away. Also, right beside is a mini mart offering essentials, like beer. :-) (Also food, toiletries, etc) Best of all, it's open quite late, to 9:30pm. The room itself is large, and in good condition, with a big bathroom, a nice kitchennete, and well working AC. WIFI was of a decent speed, delivering whatsapp calls of good quality. The room was clean and tidy, but some more attention could have been given to the shower drain and bottom of the glass enclosure. I'm sure that would have been rectified had we asked. Aside from that, everything else was spotless. The huge porch allows for enjoying meals outside, or relaxing after a busy day on the island, all without many mosquitoes. Best of all, the wonderful tropical garden adds a sense of beauty, and privacy to every villa. All in all, 9.5/10, would recommend.

What a gem!
This place has charm in spades! Firstly, we were greeted by Stephan with a welcome coconut. And then when we walked into the room, there were beautiful flowers everywhere. The room was very clean and spacious, there was a fan and air conditioning, the wifi was fast, the water pressure was excellent and Stephan made sure we knew about all the best spots on La Digue. Highly recommend Cocotier du Rocher!

Lovely cottage
Cocotier du Rocher offers a nice price/ quality ratio in La Digue. The hotel is well centered in the island, about ten minutes by bicycle from the jetty. The owner is friendly and provides good information about places to visit in the island. Small kitchnette added to the room, which gives opportunity for cooking. Bathroom was clean and new. Bycicles could be rented at 100 shr per day, which is cheaper than those proposed to us when we arrived on the jetty. We tried also the breakfast, which was decent, and is enjoyable when eating by the balcony/ open to the garden.

We spent 5 days at La digue and we had the best experience at Cocotier du Rocher. The bungalows are very clean and we had a room cleaning everyday. We had the possibility to get the breakfast made and to have our barbecues as well. Stephan is so nice and helpful. We spend a greatest tume at Ladigue

The best in La Digue
L'hôte a été génial avec nous. Un vrai sentiment de vacances. L'emplacement est génial car au milieu de tout. Donc l'accessibilité se fait en 15min en moyenne pour le Nord comme le Sud. C'est tres cosy et vraiment depaysant.

Erholung pur im tropischen Garten
Die Anlage ist wunderschön in einem tropischen Garten gelegen. Jedes Chalet ist in einem eigenen Bereich angelegt und bietet dadurch Privatsphäre. Die Ausstattung der Küche stellt alles zur Verfügung, was man braucht. Der Zimmerservice ist sehr gut. Eine Aussendusche zur Erfrischung ist vorhanden. Fahrräder können im Hotel angemietet werden und ein kleiner Supermarkt ist gleich nebenan. Bis zur Stadt sind es mit dem Fahrrad 5 Minuten.

Mille Merci à Stéphane et à son équipe pour leur accueil leurs conseils avisés et leur gentillesse.Nous avons passé un séjour magique sur la Digue malgré une météo bien capricieuse! Hébergement au top perdu dans son écrin de verdure en compagnie des oiseaux ! C’était relaxant, destressant , tout ce qu’il nous fallait ! Personnel aux petits soins, ménage des bungalows au top, absolument rien à redire !!!! Je recommande cocotier du rocher à 200 %. Note : 10/10

Notre séjour à Cocotier du Rocher a été fantastique. La chambre est grande, confortable, la salle de bain est top et le coin cuisine très pratique pour se faire à manger ou le petit déjeuner. Les bungalows sont cachés dans une végétation tropicale et il y a même une douche extérieure très sympathique. L'hôtel est bien placé, a la croisée des chemins qui mènent aux différents endroits à voir sur La Digue. Et pour finir, Stéphane, le gérant, est top, très disponible, très agréable et il vous aidera sans problème a réserver une excursion ou un vélo.
