"Cocotier Du Rocher is a great spot to stay on La Digue. 6-8 minute bike ride to the main village, and 15-20 minutes by bike to Grand Anse and Anse Source d'Argent. My room was very spacious with AC, ceiling fan and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are really nice as well... definitely get the island vibe. Stephan was super cool and helpful. He hooked me up with bike rental, shuttle to/from the ferry, and even some laundry. Note: Try to book ferry in advance as it can fill up at peak times. "

"Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie is a luxury resort very close to the ferry berth and yet designed to ensure privacy and comfort. The property spans the main roadway with the pool, bar and restaurants on one side and villas on the other. Staff was friendly and attentive at all points of contact. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Buffet meals at the restaurant that overlooked the beach varied from evening to evening but were generally fine with lots of options, though the on demand grill options...

"The location was walking distance from the ferry. The problem was, there was no room for us even with a confirmed reservation . There had been a plumbing problem. They found a room for us that wasn't convenient or nearly as nice but made up for it with bicycles. The next afternoon, we did get a room at Oceane. It was large with an even larger bathroom. It had a shared kitchen (never saw anyone else use it) and a patio where we could eat. There was a communal cold tub - La Digue is Hot and...

"Close to the jetty, dining tables and chairs all wood, bath towels too old and discolored, served us with rotten bananas, saves us with fresh paw paw broath while they saved others with proper and pure fresh juice yet we came in first. Bedsheets were old and discoloured"

"The staff and conditions of the hotel were great. The location of the hotel to otger things near by is also good. The only drawbacks were you cant really swim infront of the hotel, its extremely shallow even at high tide and the AC in the room wasn't the best. other than that no problems. "
