The staff was responsive to our needs. We had problems with a lack of hot water and they solved the problem within an hour. The full Irish breakfast was delicious. The receptionist, who also served our breakfast, was efficient, friendly, and helpful.

It was a lovely find with a beautiful view. The customer service was great, helping me with my bags at check-in, breakfast was provided in the morning and overall a great experience.

Friendly 3star hotel
We really enjoyed our stay in the shamrock. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, even though we had to go next door to sister hotel to eat It was still convenient. We would stay there again.

Great time at the Shamrock
Our stay at the Shamrock was excellent. Between the great location (golf, pubs, beach) and friendly staff, the Shamrock was outstanding. The off-street parking was very convenient as well.

Wonderful stay in Lahinch
We had a great stay, great location. Perfect for those needing parking.. be prepared to climb stairs to rooms. The breakfast is delicious. The service was wonderful. We stayed on the second floor appears to be in some upgrades with hallways half painted beds comfortable.. my greatest disappointment was that we were at the back of the hotel, and there is no Wi-Fi until you walk to the front of the building which is problematic at the end of the day when you’re trying to plan or communicate with others. We had to leave our room to access the Internet if you’re staying at the front of the building, there is signal, but is weak. Our waitress at breakfast was fantastic. Gave us suggestions for local music night.

The service was outstanding but the hallway was half painted . The room was clean and comfortable but the fact we had to leave our room and go to the front of the building for wifi was really annoying when trying to plan our next day out!

We have always liked to visit this hotel the simple but comfortable facilities the colours the art work the overall look and the amazing staff and food kept us coming back,, how ever the prices on the menu is now out of our price range far to expensive new york prices in lachinch!! 😔 we wish all well..........

From the moment our reservation was booked, the staff at the Shamrock Inn and Hotel were attentive, kind and eager to assist with our needs. Tracy, the reservations manager, was especially responsive when our originating flight had to be re-booked at the last minute and we arrived a day later than expected. Lahinch is a lovely town right on the water with lots of restaurants, shops and views all around. The room was very clean and comfortable, though small due to the fact that it is an older hotel. A gated parking lot at the back of the property was easily accessible and safe. We had a lovely stay!

A little odd to check in at the Atlantic hotel next door then walk next door to the Shamrock Hotel. The bedroom felt old and needed updating. No fridge, no safe and no bottled drinking water (on request two bottles supplied) Soap dispenser empty which was filled on request sadly it was not fixed back to the bathroom wall. The dinner in the bar was excellent the breakfast choices average.

Our room small, with stained carpet and very hot with only 1 of the 2 windows able to be opened. We asked for a fan. The revellers walking up the street were very loud till 4.30 am. Not a great stay.

Good location in Lahinch. Slight confusion on whether we were staying in this hotel or the Atlantic next door as they seem to be one and the same. No matter - the room we had was fine - maybe a tad dated in decor - but perfectly comfortable for one night. Breakfast - the full Irish naturally - was great. We did have a small issue with ghost-music - a medley of 60's rock and roll we could hear faintly in our room and it briefly drove us crazy to locate the source. In the end a chat with Reception resolved the problem - seemed to be piped music into the renovated rest-rooms which made its way to room 18. The kind lady switched it off and all was tranquil again. Lahinch is a great town with a fantastic beach - we watched the surfers for ages. Recommended

Very friendly and clean. Room was a bit cold but overall a nice stay and a nice location. They have their own parking lot too though it’s not advertised we found it by accident

Great location, staff were very helpful. The front door locks after a certain time so it felt safe but also a bit inconvenient to have to go next door to find someone to let you in. Room was clean, shower was great.

Wonderful stay
Room was much bigger than expected. Very clean. Really friendly and helpful guy called Declan checked us in and recommended nice places to eat around the area. The car park is located directly behind the hotel and there is a back walking entrance into the hotel from it.

Not the shamrock inn
We booked the shamrock inn but it was closed and we stayed in their sister hotel next door. This was not communicated to us until we turned up. The staff were very welcoming though, the room was decent and the location was excellent. The breakfast and service were really very good also.
