I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used. Property is in need of updating, pillows need replacing, bed rattles, floorboards squeak. My room was on the 4th floor, no lift. The hotel is good value for money, I got what I paid for."
