"Spacious home, with lots of little sitting areas for everyone to have quiet time on their own. We enjoyed being walking distance from the Root River Trail. Short drive to Lanesboro where there was plenty to do.We were lucky to be in Lanesboro for the Rhubarb Festival, which was enjoyed by all. We also went to the The Mane Theatre for an excellent satire, "The Outsider". Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home."

"Property was clean, well-maintained. This property is quiet! Which is what we wanted! Beds were comfortable. Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the area. Host suggested two places to eat and they were both amazing ( Home Sweet Home in Lanesboro and Aroma Pie in Waylon) We will look forward to going back and staying again !"

"We just needed a place to stay for one night having come down from the cities to pick our daughter up from end of semester at Luther. The price was right, we thought. The pictures looked nice enough. When we left, we agreed it would be our future “go to” place! The camper was as nice as any hotel, plus the added bonus of a stream and waterfall, campfire, horses, pasture…doesn’t get any better. Wish we could’ve stayed longer…Next time!!"

"I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. "

"The cabin was actually nicer than the pictures gave them credit for. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The bathrooms were much nicer than expected. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. The grounds around the cabin really needed a good mowing. It would have been helpful if firepit tools for moving hot logs or cleaning out old charred pieces of wood were provided. Not something we have to bring with us. "

"We had a great experience staying at Country Cabin. Everything went super smoothly and Craig was very helpful every step of the way. We had plenty of room to hang out and everything was very comfortable. The children really enjoyed the air hockey table as well as the slide from the upstairs game room to the outdoors. "This is our third stay at Money Creek Ranch and we will be back! Amy is THE BEST attentive host that thinks of all the details to make our stay pleasant. We all have our favorite spot here- a young one on the swing, a family member in the hammock, someone reading on the deck, and me around the fire pit star gazing between the bluffs. This is hands down the best place for gatherings, nature viewing, and relaxing. The lodge has enough room for everyone. Not to mention you are close enough to town...

"We had a very nice long weekend here with teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the land was great for exploring! The kids enjoyed the endless pool. The showers had great pressure and the whirlpool was enjoyed by most - by it was a tub, not a hot tub. The kitchen, while manageable, could use some additions including spatulas, scrappers, cookie sheets - some items one might consider a staple. More practicable dinnerware and cups/glasses might be worth providing. We "figured" out how to work...
