Great stay
Lovely villa exactly as described. Close to shops bars restaurants and bus stop. Harold very helpful and accommodating. Could maybe do with a welcome guide to advise on pool cleaning days etc. Having said that Harold was very quick to reply to any questions we had. We will definitely be back.

Really lovely villa
Very clean and well organised villa. Location was quiet and close to local amenities and a 10 minute walk to the sea. Pool heating was a perfect temperature in March. Would definitely stay again.

Great place
Nice villa pool was great and heated, table tennis was a nice additive, Lovely area with shops near by and beach only a short drive away. The only disappointment was no welcome pack and not much instructions for air conditioning and other things. Harold was very helpful when needed.

Perfect
We had a wonderful time here. The villa had everything that we needed. We had a hire car during our stay and enjoyed exploring the island. We ate at 2 of the restaurants opposite Faro Park and enjoyed both of these. The table tennis table was a great addition and the pool was fantastic.

Ideal spot to relax.
Property as described and excellent for friends and family. Can only endorse previous positive reviews. We have stayed in this area over a number of years but Villa Familia is by far the best equipped and most convenient for the local shops and restaurants. During our stay we had the most dreadful and rare 36 hour deluge which caused a few problems, but Harold and his brother quickly dealt with the issues and made sure it didn’t spoil our holiday. A big thanks to them and we hope to be back in the future.

Fantastic villa and lovely location.
The villa is absolutely amazing. So well presented and clean. The pool is a great size and the outside area very spacious. Harold was a fantastic host and responded quickly to any questions. The location was ideal. A short walk from shops and restaurants and a nearby beach. A 30 minute easy walk to a lovely sandy beach great for swimming in sea! Everywhere is so clean and some excellent places to eat. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you for a great family holiday!!

First time in Lanzarote
Communication with owner and the details received were great. Very happy with the location and standard of property. Everything that you needed was available in the villa. Close to some good restaurants, most of which were recommended by Harold. Only negatives: light over downstairs sink did not work and we couldn’t get the water feature by the pool to work. Maybe the lights should be tested when the cleaner goes in? Also the neighbours next door were celebrating for two days with quite loud music but this was obviously not the owners fault. Would have liked a folder on the villa, showing how to work the security system and the costs of heating the pool etc…. Overall a very pleasant experience Lorraine and John Cowdery

Stayed here for 11 nights, super clean and super equipped, lovely pool and outside area lots of space. Perfect living space for a family of 4/6 Great kitchen, bbq lovely inside and outside dining areas. Great location, 2 minute walk to a great wee supermarket and a few bars and restaurants . About 45 minute walk to Playa Blanca along the coastal path Even had a great TV box with every channel you could want Can’t recommend enough, Harold was perfect to deal with and we’ll definitely be back

Great property and exactly as described! Great host. A bit far from the main amenities of Playa Blanca. Just enough within walking distance to get by with in terms of dining and groceries. The 30 bus and local tours can take you everywhere in no time, so I wouldn’t bother with a car. A perfect option if you just want to lounge beside the pool and let the kids play.

Excellent Villa with everything you need for a perfect getaway
What an excellent Villa. This place was pretty much everything we could have asked for and perfect for for the much much needed getaway. Location - it is on the far end of Playa Blanca by the lighthouse and in a quieter area but close enough to everything you need. A car is recommended but I did see buses going by close by. The Villa is tucked away on a quiet street and the locations given from Harold were spot on. Its a 5min drive into Playa Blanca and the main supermarket. There is a well stocked shop only 5 minutes walk away too alongside some great restaurants (gusto and PizzBurger) Accommodation - Spot on....the rooms are big and well equipped. We also had a cot in one of the rooms too. The main living room is comfortable with a very good selection of TV channels to keep the kids entertained as well as catching up in the evenings. The front dining lounge area was also very nice for breakfast. The kitchen is exactly what we needed and well stocked up. The garden / pool area is massive and well equipped and clean. The hot tub is a nice treat too. The Stay - we were well looked after by Harold who was on hand to resolve a few issues we had (minor). The access was easy and we had the pool cleaned too during our stay. We also had cleaning equipment and the washing machine / dishwasher. I would definitely recommend this Villa if you've got kids and need a getaway!

Great Villa with great amenities. We are a family of four and enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms are very good, living area spacious enough and pool warm, clean and big enough for our teenagers to play in. Local stores etc are only a walk away but you need to get transport into Playa Blanca; taxis and bus are cheap. Nice view of the volcano and sea. Would I stay again - yes!

Nice property, good location
We spent 5 weeks at the property, we enjoyed our stay a lot. We were working from there so we used the internet all day which is reliable with a strong signal. We appreciated the English channels and the large movie collection. The pool is very nice and warm. Amenities are close by and there is a good bus service although I would recommend to take a car if one wants to see the sights and beaches of the island. The property is very clean the bathrooms and bedrooms are nice. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The house and the pool was cleaned weekly which was a nice touch. The outside area is surprisingly big and comfortable, and nicely organised for resting and outside dining. Harold has been very attentive and responded very quickly to all our needs, he has been very helpful. The promenade on the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The property is ideal for a family holiday. I only missed a desk for working but most people would not want to do that on a holiday!

Fantastic villa
We were lucky enough to be able to get to Playa Blanca over the Christmas period. We were not sure whether we would be able to travel until last minute but Harold was extremely helpful and flexible with the booking and always answered my many questions very quickly!! The villa is immaculate and the outside space is great with a lovely pool and just a few minutes walk to some lovely bars and restaurants. The villa has everything you need and we had a lovely family holiday! We would love to return at some point when everyone can travel again. Thank you Harold for all your help!!

Perfect!
Facilities indoors and outdoor space (hot tub with G&T every evening) were great at this lovely villa. Location was perfect for local well stocked supermarkets and coastal walk into town. Harold was so helpful - especially as we were locked down 2 days into our holiday. We have stayed in many villas over the years but we will definitely return here. Family break
Lovely, comfortable villa with almost all you could need for a break. Close to a few bars, cafes and mini markets. Couple of minutes to coastal path for a 3 mile walk to sandy Playa Flamingo. A hire car is probably a good idea unless you plan on staying put or using the bus service (which seemed pretty regular). We loved the pool and hot tub, and played table tennis a lot too. All in all great fun. Rooms were spacious and cosy; and two bathrooms was great for privacy and no fighting over who uses it first! The upstairs master bedroom has a lovely balcony with partial sea views out towards Fuertaventura. TV has lots of English channels and sport available if you can't live without it. Efficient Wi-Fi connection. Only suggestion we would make is an extra set of keys as two sets of adults may want to do their own thing once in a while and it meant having to arrange to meet up or be back at certain times. Also a few board games would be welcome. Overall we can't fault the place, and Harold was very friendly and helful without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in this gorgeous villa
Villa Familia is perfect for a quiet and relaxing break. It has everything you need - beautiful garden with a heated pool and hot tub plus a relaxing space to chill in the evening (you’ll find plenty of cushions and blankets if it’s a bit chilly) and a great family dining space with BBQ. Inside the villa is modern, with a washing machine and dishwasher and it has comfy bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms. It is 2 x double and 1 x twin. There was absolutely loads of TV choice - UK channels, Sky Sports (my teenagers loved being able to watch the Liverpool games), movies, music and radio. We used the Bluetooth speaker in the garden and it was just lovely being able to chill out (it was quiet when we were there). There are some decent restaurants nearby and a good off licence (the supermarket is quite expensive though). The coastal path is a few mins walk away and we used the bus service to go in and out and Playa Blanca and the Marina and walked in a few times. Would definitely recommend this villa and would use again. Harold was a great host and even allowed us a late check out which made a massive difference to our last day. We were a family of 4 adults (One 60+, one 40+ and 2 of them are 18) and a 15 year old and we all loved it. Thanks Harold for a great holiday!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at villa Familia. Harold was a great host and even allowed us to have an early check in. The perfect villa

Exceptional villa
As a family with 3 children, we had a 2 week stay in July in Villa Familia. Villa is very modern and well equipped, inside and outside. Inside the villa, the fridge was stocked with some basic essentials when we arrived which was a lovely touch. There are A/C units in every room but are coin operated by a meter in the hall. We probably only put in 5 euro for the 2 weeks as there really wasn't a requirement in the evenings. All the bedrooms have electric fans which are more that adequate. Bedrooms are nicely furnished and a good size with the 2 bedrooms upstairs also having a balcony. Downstairs, the kitchen has all the essentials, sitting room has smart tv with all uk/irish/spanish channels along with box sets and every movie you could possibly want. WFI is very fast, clocked at 90 mbs downstairs, but a bit hit and miss upstairs. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to put in a WFI extender upstairs to improve the WFI. Outside there is a heated pool, and heated hot tub where hours of fun were had, 6 sun loungers and a lovely shaded seating area. Pool was cleaned after a week and linen changed on beds and new towels provided. Playa blanca is a 5 min taxi ride approx 6 Euro and within a 5 min walk in the other direction are a few lovely restaurants, takeaway, supermarkets and off licence. We had a car but certainly not a necessity for this villa but was handy to visit other parts of the island. We really couldn't fault this property and had a lovely relaxing holiday. Thank you Harold.

Fantastic villa
A really nice property that helped make our family holiday superb. There are a huge number of positives regarding the villa. The pool - This is amazing and superb for families. Our 4 year old, loved this, there is a nice large shallow end and spent hours in the pool. The slide, was also fun and perfect for children. There is also a step the width of the pool, if you just want to sit and relax Heating for the pool is overnight and effective during our trip, we used the pool, some days from 9am and found it stayed warm throughout the day The garden, really nice layout with a couple of different areas, to relax The hot tub, was effective though not super modern Kitchen and lounge - open plan with everything you need to cook. The television is fantastic and had a huge choice of channels, showing pretty much everything you could possibly want Some small toys, were also present in the villa which helped our young child settle down and feel comfortable quickly Sun Room - this is at the front of the house and was a really fantastic space. It is larger than it looks in the pictures and was a great place to have lunch or dinner, if the weather outside was chilly. Bedrooms - all nicely decorated and beds were really comfy Air conditioning/heating - We never had to use this, but the units appeared to be good. They appeared to be operated by a coin metre. There are also fans in every room Host - Harold, seemed like a really nice guy and was easy to communicate with during the booking process and during our stay. He provided a really nice, pack of food, on our first day, of ham, cheese, bread, beer, oranges and bananas. This was unexpected but appreciated. There were a couple of small negatives, which did not spoil our holiday, but we were not aware of until the end of the holiday. The pool heating and the hot tub, do not work at the same time. The hot tub was timed to cut out at 9pm (10pm when in BST). We had not realised this and thought it was broken. The time was not good for us as we used as it was just about to shut down. If I had asked, I am sure that the timings would have been changed, as the host was helpful but we did not ask. There was not also adequate instruction on how to use the hot tub and we made a mistake in how it worked due to the first time we tried it, being off due to the timings Overall though we loved the property and our holiday and would definitely short list this villa in future and would be delighted to return

Beautiful villa will definately be back
Unfortunately I was ill and I was unable to travel so my daughter and husband were persuaded to holiday without me for a week over new year. They loved the indoor and outdoor spaces, we’ve previously stayed in various villas in the faro park area and they said this was their favourite one yet. They had a problem with the pool heating so phoned Harold and he came within 10 minutes and sorted it straight away. Also my daughter went to dry her hair and there was no hairdryer, again phoned Harold and he went straight to the shop and bought one within 15/20 minutes. Hot tub perfect, warm pool perfect, area perfect, oh and lovely comfortable beds. We’ll definately be booking again when I can travel. Well done Harold keep it up.

Very relaxed and peaceful
We had a fabulous stay at Villa Familia. The outside space is fantastic. Better than the photos suggest. It is a really large area. The pool is lovely and warm. My teens loved the table tennis table. It is a really nice extra. Accomodation was all very comfortable and clean. No complaints. We really liked the location of the villa. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the supermarket and some surprisingly good restaurants. 2 minor points: The hot tub chemicals made you eyes water so didnt use much and the master bedroom needs a new door.. Does not close properly. These things did not spoil our time here. It is a lovely property.

Stayed 1 week in mid-Nov. Villa spotless, everything working, no issues at all. Pool is lovely and warm, and hot tub as well. Villa just like in photos. Perfect location 10 mins from Promenade and very easy access to restaurants/shops. Harold was brilliant host - no issues at all but was available if needed. Would highly recommend, and will likely return! TIP: Have lunch at Natura Beach (4 min drive away) - great value restaurants on the Promenade just metres from the waves!

Great villa with fantastic outdoor space
The property is in very good condition with air conditioning in every room and WiFi easily fast enough to stream Netflix on (a rarity in my experience). The real benefit to this villa is the outdoor space though. Despite a good sized swimming pool and a hot tub there is still plenty of room for 2 seating areas, 6 sun loungers, a brick BBQ and a table-tennis table. There are some shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk but a car is needed to the nearest supermarket (7-10 minutes drive). Car rental for 10 days was about the same cost as return airport taxis though so a no-brainier really. We throughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday away in the sun.

Wonderful place
We stayed here for the last week in August. We have stayed in the area a couple of times before but this has by far, been our best holiday in Playa Blanca. The villa was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The villa is within walking distance of some lovely restaurants but a cab to Marina Rubicon won’t break the bank if you fancy leaving the car at the villa! We always like a walk along the coastal path though - particular at sunset. It’s a lovely stroll to Natura Beach. We have a teenage son and he loves this place - not once did he miss his Xbox - he didn’t want to leave. This will be our “go to” place when we holiday in Lanzarote again. Villa Familia - nicht neu aber ok
.Harold ist ein sehr netter und entgegenkommender Vermieter. Allerdings wäre zu erwähnen, dass es sich hier nicht um eine neue Villa handelt. Der Pool war sehr angenehm beheizt, allerdings für Schwimmer nicht ganz so geeignet, da er zur Hälfte sehr nieder ist. Der Whirlpool hatte leider nicht die geeignete Temperatur und roch mehr als übermäßig nach Chlor. Alles in allem hatten wir jedoch einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of December with my husband and mother. The villa and pool is immaculate throughout, super clean and spacious. The villa is situated in a residential area, is very peaceful and well looked after. We were a short drive from local shops for food and drink supplies and used the outdoor bbq every night to cook on! The owner is very helpful and can be there in a moments notice should you need a hand with anything. A great holiday and very relaxing - we would definitely return.

We amazing time in this villa, we spent 10 wonderful days with our 10 months old baby. The villa was very well decorated and maintained. Each room was tastefully done. It had all the requirements we needed including air con and fan in each room. Baby cot and high chair were provided as well. Kitchen had everything you needed for self catering. The pool and the hot tub was well maintained and also there were enough toys provided so our little one could enjoy. Harold was very helpful and hospitable. Whenever we needed any help he was around within 10 minutes. Beach was only 10-15 min walk and shops within 5 minute walk. We would recommend this villa to anyone.

lovely villa in a lovely quite part of playablanca . Had everything we needed to make are 2week stay enjoyable . Harold ( owner ) very helpful and quick to respond to any problems .

We had a lovely holiday staying in Villa Familia. I can't praise Harold enough for being a great host and really looked after us whilst we were there. The house keeping staff did a great job off freshening the place up for us whilst we were there too. Would certainly recommend this Villa.

Beautiful home from home.
We are just back from a wonderful 2 week stay at the beautiful Villa Familia. The villa is very spacious with a gorgeous master bedroom and lovely sea views. The kids loved the pool and the youngest loved the small pool with the waterfall. There is plenty of outside space and more than enough seating for everyone to have their own space if needed. We loved eating breakfast in the front dining room with views down to the sea. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is air conditioning and fans in all rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and there is traditional barbecue outside. There is a few local shops and restaurants just along the road but the bus takes you into playa Blanca if you fancy more choice. As a family of five it was cheaper for us to get a taxi into the main resort as it only cost 5 euros compared to 7 on the bus. Villa familia truly is a home from home and Harold had added the extra touches that you don't find in some villas. I would definitely recommend this villa if you are looking for a quiet break away from it all but close enough to everything if you need. Great villa, nicely appointed. Very clean. Owner extremely helpful.
Had a great week in the villa. It is a little out of town, but has a few shops and restaurants within 5 mins walk. Good pool and outside area.

As advertised. Clean and modern with excellent outdoor facilities.
If your like me and my wife and search villa after villa, well once on here look no further. This villa is as described by Harold. All bed rooms are spacious with 2 toilet/shower rooms to use. Open plan kitchen and living room with ample space both indoor and out for eating. It is about a 5 minute drive to the main resort and about 30 min to Porta Del Carmen. I would highly recommend a car. Large swimming pool with a hot tub and also shaded parts to sit and relax. 10/10 for the outdoor area. Harold as a host is 10/10, excellent communication and always replies in a timely manner. If we plan to visit the island again I will 100% choose this villa again. Honestly, if you are on this site and the villa is available for your dates, do yourself a favour and book it before it goes....
