"If you have a car rented on Lipari, and you enjoy feeling like you're miles away from anywhere, this is the spot for you. It's exactly why we booked it, and it was exactly what we expected. This remote villa is not easily accessed DIRECTLY by car. Very narrow roads to get to the parking area, which is a 3 minute walk down a rugged stone path that is somewhat steep, to access the property. It IS possible to drive down the path. (Whether or not you can drive back up it is based on your car's power...

"Terrific rooms, each with a large outdoor terrace. Very charming. Impressive service. I had to leave an hour before normal breakfast serving hours so the fine gentleman met me in the breakfast room at 630 am and served me a cappuccino and cake and fruit to get me on my way. I hope to come back and stay a week. Fabulous views. The Only downside: its a mile from the ferry terminal and the town center. A pleasant walk once you take a taxi with your bags."

"Incredibly charming and comfortable, and its situation in town is absolutely perfect. I adored the building, the room, the tiny street view, and the accessibility to everything. Anna the concierge/hostess at the hotel was lovely, friendly and so helpful. I miss being there! If there's just one tiny complaint, it's that the bed and pillows were kinda hard, but I got over it considering the rest of the beauty I was surrounded by."

Excellent location within walking distance of town center, port, restaurants etc. Extremely spacious room, with kitchenette. Lipari is a gorgeous island and an excellent hub to explore the surrounding Aeolian islands from."

"The room was extremely small- so small that every time I got out of bed I banged my leg either against the wall or the bed frame! The bed mattress was also extremely hard so hard I did not sleep. In addition, there was no hair conditioner nor body lotion in the bathroom."
