Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.We are very sorry to hear about the complaint. I assure you that we are taking the matter very seriously. Its very surprising as we are not aware of any bed bug problem at the hotel. And have not had any complaint from any guests from the past from your room. Never the less We have immediately closed down the room and carrying out an investigation. So far our Housekeepers and Receptionist have inspected the bed, soft furnishing and room and have found no sign of any bed bug activity. However we have called out our Pest control technician who will be coming out today to make a thorough search on the whole room. He will carry out a very detailed inspection and analyses and take apart the bed, mattress, soft furnishing, desks, seating , carpet and everything in the room to identify if we do have any activity, and to treat the room regardless.As you might be aware, bed bugs are not due to unhygienic reasons but are usually carried around by any unsuspecting guests, using public Transport, restaurants, cinemas or whilst traveling, who could easily bring it in to hotel rooms. Even the 5 Star hotels are at Risk.Wishing you all the best.
