My group found the Lexen to be a great place to stay if you are going to the Hollywood Bowl. It is so much easier to walk there as opposed to dealing with parking or an Uber. It's a 15 minute walk, slightly uphill for those who have issues, but for most anybody it would be easy. The hotel itself is unusual in that there is just a desk someone sits at to check you in; it's very sparse but it did the trick. Our room and bathroom were a good size and clean, the king bed was comfortable, and the AC worked great. There was a small lobby on the second floor to gather if needed. Parking can be an issue because it's stacked; we had no problem but there's a possibility someone could park behind you and if they aren't considerate you may get stuck, but the hotel tries to deal with as best they can. There is nowhere to eat within a 10 minute walk, but after that there are hundreds of cheap and expensive places to dine. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was a decent value but the surrounding area is pretty run down. The parking was very difficult to get in and out of, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was as expected. Some guy knocked on our door at 230am looking for Sam. If there’s an event at Hollywood bowl, it will be nearly impossible to drive back to this hotel.

I love the convenient location of this hotel. It's perfect for the Hollywood Bowl and for a Hollywood and Highland after-party. There are signs of wear and tear in the room, but the bed was comfortable, the mini-fridge was cold and the bathroom was clean. Just make sure you bring house slippers so you're not walking barefoot on the carpet. Ha! And I wish they had normal cable so we could have watched the NBA playoffs. All in all, I recommend this hotel for the absolute convenience of an affordable night or two in Hollywood.

There was no parking at the facility. It’s the smallest area ever you have to tandem park. The showerhead was loose and spraying everywhere. The beds are practically on the floor with very small side. Tables would never stay there again. Also, the staff was not very friendly or helpful. They were.

Exactly as described in most of the reviews. While I can see how parking can be a pain in the “small” alley, and it’s inconvenient to have to pay for daily parking, especially during a busy time at the hotel (they double park cars)… its actually quite nice to have the option and space and not drive around trying to find parking and the walk with all your luggage to your hotel. It’s clean, close to most things, and in a safe place. It’s priced well for what you get compared to what’s available in the area. I wouldn’t normally pay as much as I did but compared to other options it was appropriate. Thank you for the great stay. Staff was super nice and accommodating.

The parking is horrible. I think there were 12 spaces. All with the exception of the Handicapped were Double Park spots. You had to pull all the way in to allow another car to park behind you locking you in. If you were the 2nd car you had to leave your keys at the desk. Half of the cars did not pull in completely. Very narrow space between buildings.To exit it required about a 20 point turn just to exit. Worst Ive ever seen. The Hotel accommodations were bare minimal. No breakfast offered. No place to put it. Super small hotel.I would not use again based on parking issues.

We were out all day. It is near by from many touristic places. Hotel is clean do not expect restaurant, bar or breakfast good to go sleep. Parking is limited.
