"The drive to the hotel took us down a side street as opposed to a main road giving a very bad first impression but on arriving at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The reception was airy and authentically Egyptian. Nasser welcomed us and arranged for us to get together on the terrace the next morning so we could go to our room as it was quite late. "We only stayed here 3 nights. Absolutely amazing location and the rooftop is what its all about. The staff must see thousands of tourists come and go and it shows unfortunately. The room was tiny and a tiny wet room to shower. But for a few nights was fine and doable We went to the hotel next doors rooftop for alcoholic beverages. Was always empty so was good to escape the crowds of Nefertitis rooftop. Nefertitis was a fantastic slice of Egypt. We highly recommend Al Hajeej tours "
