Old Restored Farmhouse
We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.

Lovely and Peaceful
We really enjoyed our time -this time of year can be so beautiful - early darkness found us relaxing by the fire in the evenings and up in plenty of time to enjoy beautiful morning light (and sun rising) … the house is so warm and speaks its history - a welcome respite from city and a great base for exploring (although we could easily have enjoyed staying in all day!). Many thanks to Ger and Grett and family!

Dream holiday in an idyllic rural location
Ger and Grett were just the perfect hosts. We felt very welcome and comfortable here. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Thank you for the hospitality, the many nice conversations and the helpfulness. Thank you for the fresh milk, the delicious bread and so much more. We look forward to seeing you again.

Great cottage! Super clean. Everything was lovely. Host's were the best.
The host's provided fresh cow's milk and warm brown bread. They helped with local dinner bookings and were extremely helpful! Highly recommend this cottage!!!

A most wonderful place!
My family stayed here for 3 nights. This was our favorite place mostly due to the owner, Gerard. He was so kind and generous! He provided fresh milk and cream, gave us a tour of his dairy farm including the milking operation, and provided amazing stories/history. We all loved every minute.

This was a highlight of our trip. Loved the cottage. The hosts were so friendly and gave us the history of the house and surroundings. If you love antiques and restored houses, you will love this place.
