Location, location, location! Hardest part was finding this unpretentious gem just off Pl. del Sol, center of town & transport hub. Once we found the doorway (sign is 3 stories up, the staff helped us in. Clean,comfortable rooms, center of town at your feet, groceries around the corner. What a nice find!

Hostel room was very small, but 1minute walk to center of Plaza Del Sol and easy access to museums and shopping. Hotel very basic, but clean and safe and good air conditioner (was there in July). I travel quite a bit and this hostel is for the budget traveler who just needs good free internet service and cool, comfortable place to sleep at night.

In the Middle of the Motion
This hostal is very simple, no frills, but the location at the beginning of Calle del Arenal is 1/2 a block from the very center of Madrid, the Puerto del Sol (PdS). For those Americans sensing the cravings, Burger King is right below it, McDonald's and KFC are a block away. We tried a Mexican restaurant one night, a Thai restaurant another, a Korean restaurant another and Spanish restaurants 3 times - all within 2 blocks of the hostal. Where Calle del Arenal hits PdS there is a subway entrance, stairs and elevator - your gateway to Madrid. One night we were serenaded by a 40+ voice choir singing "Deep in the Heart of Texas" in four-part harmony, three floors below our window on the street, making the experience surreal. The next night we were entertained by a political rally whose repeating cry was "Madrid won't consume Coca Cola!" Every night there were Russian violinists playing underneath our window, and they were concert hall quality! There are an abundance of small souvenir stores on the street, and around the corner is El Corte Inglés, the largest dept store chain in Spain, which also sells souvenirs along with toiletries and other items. There is a great chocolate place 2 blocks up the street, on the right and another on the left. There is a pharmacy 2 blocks up, and another 2 streets over. The only shortcoming on location is that you cannot get there by car. Your cab will drop you 2 or 3 streets away and you can walk down Calle Arenal to the hostal.

Very good, if you want to be at the heart of tourists' world and activities in Madrid. Basic hotel with reasonably clean bed and bathroom.

場所はいいが、わかりにくい アパートのワンフロアがオスタルになっている、日本にはないスタイルなので調べてからいかないときつい 一泊だけだったのでいいが、連泊だと扉の音や廊下の声が聞こえるのできつい 安ければありかな

Muy recomendable
Permaneci por tres dias y mi estadia fue muy buena. El personal muy amable. La habitacion cumple su funcion con las comodidades necesarias. Lo mejor es la ubicacion , que es inmejorable. Sin dudas lo recomiendo para hospedarse en un viaje de turismo.

Ótima localização, limpo arrumado perto do metrô.
Eu e meu marido nos hospedamos no Hostal Aresol no período de 24/04 a 30/04/19 e ficamos bastante satisfeitos. Como o nome diz, é um hostal, um tipo de hotel mais simples, sem café da manhã e outras estruturas típicas de um hotel, mas com serviço de limpeza e arrumação de quarto. Ficamos num quarto de casal, com banheiro privativo, cama confortável, tv, ar-condicionado, aquecedor, banheiro completo (inclusive com secador de cabelo, duchinha ao lado do vaso e amenidades para banho), tudo era limpo e arrumado todos os dias. Não tinha frigobar. A localização é maravilhosa, bem no meio da calle arenal, rua turística, cheia de lojas e restaurantes, no 3º andar do prédio. Embora seja uma zona bastante movimentada, não escutávamos barulho da rua, pois a janela da varanda vedava muito bem. Fica bem próximo à estação de metrô Sol, nem 1 minuto caminhando, com acesso ao resto da idade, plaza puerta del sol, plaza mayor, teatro real, palácio real etc. No térreo do prédio, tem um restaurante chamado La Cueva, onde tinha café da manhã. 30 segundos caminhando, tem um maravilhoso café chamado La Mallorquina. Infelizmente não decorei os nomes dos proprietários, mas fomos sempre muito bem tratados por uma moça e um senhor que ficavam na recepção. Como nosso vôo era só às 23h30 e o checkout era às 12h00, guardaram nossas malas até a noite, sem nenhum custo adicional, e assim aproveitamos nosso último dia na cidade tranquilamente. Ganhamos uma lembrancinha no checkout. Recomendo.

Midt i smørøyet!
Kan ikke få et mer sentralt sted. Store, gode rom, men dessverre uten en lenestol. Det var reint, rommet ble tatt grundig annenhver dag, og det ble tømt søppel, ryddet og redd senger osv hver dag. Det serveres ikke måltider, men i gata nedenfor er det fullt opp av alternativer. Det vart gratis safe på rommet.

E um hotel simples, acomodações antigas, porém com conforto para uma pequena estadia. A localização e excelente, com muitas facilidades para se visitar os pontos turísticos da cidade. E bastante seguro, excelente para quem viaja sozinho.

Monumental駅から歩いて5分程、近所には夜遅くまでやっている グロッサリーが何軒もあるので、お水や食品を買うには不自由しません。 朝早くからやっているパン屋さんもあります。 場所的にも治安は良いところであるようです。 ホテルは入り口を入った目の前がフロントで24時間スタッフがいるので 安心感は高いです。また質問をすれば色々と教えてくれます。 ダブルルームを1人で利用しました。 通路に面したお部屋でしたが、外の騒音も気になりませんでした。 ベットメイキングは毎日して貰えますが、シーツが新しいものに 変わっているかは不明。バスタオルは新しいのに変えて貰えます。 部屋自体も1人で使うには十分な広さで、電源プラグも何個かあり 充電には不自由しませんでした。 アメニティーは石鹸とシャンプーのみ。 シャワーブースのみの部屋でした。ブース自体は少し狭いので 男性には窮屈かもしれません。ただシャワーの圧力はばっちりです。 換気扇は無く、シャワーブースに付いてる窓を開閉するのですが、 開けると隣の部屋の窓が見え、開けすぎるとお互いが見える状況に なってしまうのが難点です。 私の部屋は、色々な部屋の水道管が集まっている箇所であった為か 他部屋がトイレや水道を使うと、水道管を水が這󠄀う音がしていて それが唯一の難点でした。 コストパフォーマンスを考えると、泊まって良かったと思います。 また機会があれば泊まりたいなと思います。

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 3 notti. Camera spaziosa, pulita e soprattutto economico per la sua posizione. Centralissimo.

Das Hotel liegt zentral. Es ist sehr ringhörig. Ab 02.15h bis ca. 05.00h wird man auf der Hinterseite durch den Lärm der Kehrichtabfuhr und der Lieferanten des Corte Ingles geweckt und wach gehalten. Der Lift ist altertümlich und bleibt bisweilen stecken. Kann man wegen Schlechtwetter nicht den ganzen Tag unterwegs sein und muss deswegen im Hotel bleiben, wird es echt problematisch.

Super hôtel
Très bien placé : rue commerçante, métro, resto...fonctionnement très simple et convivial avec une grande liberté de mouvement sans horaires contraignants. Donne un peu l'impression d'être logé chez l'habitant, totale immersion et dépaysement.

hotel Aresol
Hotel was on the best palce in a city. Right in the middle of oldtown, Sol placa. The room was really small, but clean and nice. The only thing that was not great was the shower which didn't work very well. But for a shirt trip I would recommend this hotel for anybody who doesn't wish for a luxury but a clean, simple place to stay in the middle of ewerything in Madrid.
