"Scrupulous cleanliness, thick towels and toilet paper, a comfortable bed, Americana decor and a well equipped kitchen lent to a general air of welcome and comfort. We enjoyed the benefit of the kitchenette and grill, walked in the golf course and used the opportunity to see Giant City, the John A. Logan museum in Murphysburo and to lunch in Anna with our son. Steve, the cabin host, was very easy to communicate with as well."

"I really enjoyed my stay. I came to spend some time with my daughter who goes to SIU. It was nice, quiet, and had the great charm. It is a cabin so it is rustic but that was the charm of the cabin. The bed was great, we were able to cook and relax like the comforts of home. The wifi had an issue and needed to be reset and the host was very prompt on fixing the issue. He was available! I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter!"

"The location of the stay was nice and a good value. Arriving after dark due to traffic issues, the area was not lit so seeing the key pad was difficult and the instructions on how to unlock the property were not quite accurate. The blinds in the bedroom were broken so there was a slight privacy issue. Great shower and with lots of hot water. We really appreciated the coffee supplies and snacks. We brought food to prepare but the refrigerator was set so cold, it all froze. I did not notice that...

"Had my parents in town for the weekend and needed a place that would take their bigger dog. The cabin was exactly as described! Cute little place with comfortable beds and the location was convenient. I had some trouble getting in at first (user error) but I called the host and he quickly walked me through it. Would highly recommend for a weekend get away!"

"Very please and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the place. I will make a suggestion for the cleaner. My wife has a skin sensitivity and we have come accustom to using only soaps that have no smell. The bed linens and bath towels were washed with a scented detergent and for us was a bit too much. Other than that a great experience. Thank you for making a great place to get away."

"Very clean and comfortable; a lot of care obviously went into refurbishing it. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Kitchen appliances worked well, Keurig and snacks ready for us. It could use a toaster 😊 Take care in the tiny bathroom, the doorway is very low and tall guests might bang their heads. Nice outside areas a big plus. Would stay there again."
