We got a warm welcome despite arriving at 1am, lovely clean, comfortable room for 4 with an awesome shower! Super helpful staff and a calm place to be in the middle of the city. Perfect for our family -Thank you!

Lovely staff, perfect location (and quiet for being right in that central area!) Not a party hostel which is what I was looking for, but plenty opportunity to meet and socialize with their kitchen, bar, pool table areas. Highly recommend this place, and if you aren’t up for staying in a dorm environment, still recommend it as they have private rooms.

Great location of the property is definitely a plus. But the room wasn’t super clean. Although it was visited by the stuff everyday, the sheets had stains on them and there were hair on the bed.

Excellent location, excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Very clean, with all the essentials needed. Clean bunks and very comfy bed. Located in the heart of Malaga, walkable distance to everywhere. Social although if you’re more into partying this may not be the best place for you. Altogether I’ve had a great experience especially by the very friendly staff, always happy to accomodate your requests and always available to help. Recommended

The family vibe and smiling faces is jay about the best you will ever get. I recommend for anybody looking to travel solo to lodge here. The drinks, food and mini games are very good too

Nice accomodation in the city center
Clean, likeable room with practical, useful details. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located in the heart of the old town, all attractions are nearby

Now, THIS is a Hostel par Excellence!
I have always been a fan of hostels even before I managed one in Alaska. The TOC Hostel Malaga is the likes that I have never experienced. When one enters the lobby, you will believe that you are checking into a 5 star hotel and the service matches that initial impression. Do make sure that you pay the minor surcharge for the first class breakfast with something for everyone! After the morning offering it doubles as a first class cafe with lovely bakery offerings. Within the lovely historic district it is minutes from the Museo de Picasso and within strolling distance of all things Malaga. Perfecto!

Amazing hotel in the heart of Malaga.

A really great place to stay!
The room was fabulous - it had everything I needed, very comfortable king-size bed, plenty of room, an amazing shower and very good aircon. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect - right in the middle of the old town. It’s better than some 4 star hotels I’ve stayed at. Highly recommend! The only negative - if you stay on the front- facing side of the hostel it can get a little noisy at night. But there were earplugs provided in the room! They really did think of everything 😊

Very nice stay at hostel. Friendly staff, good facilities such as lockers, kitchen, shower. Only negative was my bed did not have a ladder so not sure how I was expected to go to my bed in the top bunk. Has to use a stool to climb up.

We were only in for one night, but I wouldn’t go back for the coffee bar. 2 coffees for a little over 5€, we have done better at coffee shops on the street. The hostal staff was very welcoming, super pleasant, and the property was in good shape. Would go back, just not for coffee.

This is a cool central hostel reachable by train and bus. And only takes 15 minutes maximum. The central location means it’s accessible to everything. Staff are very friendly. The free sangria at 8:30pm definitely made the stay for me. The beds and rooms are very clean. Great lobby display. Highly recommend.

Modern hostel in Malaga centre
Having stayed in TOC Hostel in Granada a week earlier, we had high expectations for the sister hostel in Malaga. Just as in Granada, the hostel was well designed with excellent amenities, and really comfortable. The service felt a little less personal in Malaga, but guessing it’s due to it being a busier hostel with a more varied clientele. We were on the first floor in a private double room; the sound proofing was good but the building opposite is currently being restored and the city doesn’t sleep until around 6am!

Excellent, far exceeding expectation
Really friendly staff, beautiful building and very clean and modern rooms. Beds were more than comfortable, strong shower and very nice location. Could not possibly recommend more as either a nice hotel or exceptional hostel.
