"This is a great place to relax, but there is not a lot to do at the hotel or within walking distance. The plunge pools with villa are fantastic! Due to the tides in the area, you can only swim in the ocean at high tide, and the water has a lot of seaweed. The restaurant is amazing, we really enjoyed all of our meals and the staff were always friendly and helpful."

"The hotel needs to improve the communication between the stuff and check that the amenities are always working inside and outside the property. Foods is excellent. The junior suite the rooms needs renew as well as the bathrooms. "

"Lovely setting - nice touch having flowers on the bed and turn down service. The units all look inwards to the pool which was used regularly by us. At night the pool has lights and makes for a romantic swim. There was no jug to make tea or coffee or facilities to cook yet there was a fry pan, pots and dishes. Even microwave would have been useful. The restaurant wan't operational - we would have used it. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily and was good."

"Reception was very rude. They claimed to have not received confirmation of our booking from hotels.com and pestered us for about 24-hours to repay with our credit card or KSH. We asked them to call hotels.com but they never did, so we finally had to do so ourselves with long distance calling rates, to rectify the situation."

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were topnotch in terms of assistance and politeness and I'd recommend staying here for those reasons alone. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony, quiet, tons of storage space, and great AC. It did show it's age and wasn't perfect, for example the bathroom door handle not working properly and no toilet roll holder. The overall facility was in decent shape though I think cleaning up the hotel grounds a bit would make it more attractive, especially...

"Do not book this hotel! This is a scam hotel. It doesn’t exist. I booked it and on arrival at night time in Malindi spent over an hour in a taxi looking for it. It is not at the location on google maps and the telephone number is out of service. Even hotels.com could not contact the hotel. I even returned in the morning in daylight to see if I could find the place and no nothing there! The whole experience was distressing and now I am faced with getting a refund which I am assured by hotels com...
