Fantastic property in a quieter part of town. However only 10 minutes taxi to the old town & port. Plenty of local restaurants that are great quality whilst being good value.

Quite a good base and very good accomodation with all the ameneties. Lots of restaurants with in 10-15 min walking, bike shop in front of hotel, lovely beach in 1-2 min walk behind the hotel and overall the self catering accomodation with very good room sizes.

The Ivory is a great option in Alcudia. Close to a beautiful long beach, great pools and spa. The room was in great condition. Could not ask for more

My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had consistent issues with the smell in our room, which I would describe as sewer-like. It was impossible to ignore, and it made the entire stay unbearable. It seemed to get much worse when the AC was on. Considering we were staying during a heat wave with mid-90F heat, it was either have the windows/doors open and have an extremely hot room or run the A/C and try to ignore a sewer smell. Either way, it wasn't a room that anyone would want to be in. I think I talked to 5 different hotel workers about it and the manager. All agreed that it was an issue and they promised they would fix it every day when we were out and every day we would come back to the same issue. The smell always came back when the A/C was on for any length of time. We asked to switch rooms (always no, we couldn't) or asked them to either refund us the nights so we could stay elsewhere or have them book us elsewhere so we didn't have to stay in the stink. The answer was always no even though this seemed reasonable with such a big room issue. It wasn't until the 5th night that they could move us (the last night we were there). That room was fine but the sheer lack of care until night 5 was appalling. I would never stay here again as if you have an issue with a room, you will be out of luck. I wouldn't recommend anyone endure such an unpleasant stay and risk ruining your vacation here.

Lovely hotel. Couldn’t fault the atmosphere or staff. Location is poor. Restaurants around the hotel aren’t the best and the taxi situation is a joke. Nightmare going anyway decent at night. Ages waiting for a taxi to go or come home. Forget about the buses. Most are too full and won’t even stop. When you do eventually get on one the drivers are virtually all escaped lunatics who’ve never driven a bus before or interacted with anyone other than a psychiatric nurse. Mosquito’s are a big problem around here. My legs looks I’ve been shot by a high powered spud gun

My family and I stayed here the last week in October. It was clearly quieter at the hotel (and the resort - some restaurants were already closing), but we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nice - great to have inclusive Spa facilities. It's very close to a beach - a few restaurants 10-15 minutes walk in either direction (towards Muro or the Port), though not much "right on the doorstep". It would be a long walk to Port d'Alcudia itself - we had a car, but you would probably want a taxi or bus if going out to eat every evening. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food, but everything else was clean and efficient. Pool area was quiet - no need to "reserve" a lounger - though as it was later in the year the trees cast a lot of shade. Only downside was our room was right by the lifts - and the noise was awful (sounded like metal was banging against metal) - however they didn't seem to get used through the night so didn't really disturb us so I didn't seek a room change. The vantage from the room, in the corner overlooking the pool and stage, was nice - we could enjoy the entertainment on the comfort of our balcony. We would return to the hotel - for the price it has a lot going for it - and at the risk of repeating myself, having on-site Spa facilities was great to enable a relaxing holiday and a welcome break from the four walls at home!

We visited Hotel ivory as part of a cycling trip and this has to be one of the best trips. The hotel was comfortable and right on the beach which was an absolute treat following the beautiful scenic cycling routes the island has to offer. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the pool and spa were amazing and a great bonus the room was spacious and clean. I'd like the hotel to offer more options for their breakfast to cater for vegetarians/vegans. The area around the hotel is busy and offers plenty of nice options for places to eat. The icing on the cake is the bike shop is directly opposite the hotel with facilities to store your bike overnight and good rental options. Highly recommend and we will definitely looking to return.

4th time staying here, and every year they still exceed my expectations. You are welcomed in with open arms no matter if you are a regular or a new guest. They make sure you feel at home even though you are far away from home. Due to the circumstances of Covid-19, they still ensured that we enjoyed our time here. Also, they have taken on extreme hygiene measures by all staff to ensure the safety of their guests and also their staff.

Room 121 was very dull all day until about 5.oc as I had a lot of pain i thought I could go out to balcony for some sun but this was not so. I had to go to pool every day. I did ask could I change room and I was told room got the sun. All the staff were lovely. I just thought they could have been a bit more considerate to my needs. Maybe it was just this room. Overall the hotel is good.

Comfortable hotel with great staff
The hotel ticked off most of the right boxes. It was well located near the gorgeous Playa de Muro beach. The staff at every level were very friendly and helpful. They always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The entertainment provided by the in-house animation team was very good and well-varied. The room was very comfortable though the bathroom lock didn't lock properly even after the maintenance staff had apparently fixed it. The three swimming pools were excellent, though the larger one was still a tad too cold to swim comfortably in it. The only negative factor was that the hotel implements strict rules as to when children can use the indoor pool. They are restricted to only two time slots (11.00-12.00 & 16.00-17.00). I understand why they do this as it is part of a relaxing spa. However, this really puts limitations on families' days. I suggest that the hotel adds an extra hour slot for children either earlier or later. Also I recommend that the check-in staff remind guests about the compulsory tourist tax. As we had completely forgotten about it and had budgeted accordingly; only to find out at check out that we had to pay an extra €22 for tax. Overall though this was a very good hotel and I do recommend it.

Great Luxury Hotel!!
Loved this hotel!! It was right across the street from a bike rental place, and they are super helpful! This hotel has a heated outdoor pool, which was fantastic. We did not use the indoor pool and spa because they required everyone wear a swim cap, which they sold for 2 euros each. With 4 of us, we chose not to buy them and just used the outdoor heated pool. It was a bummer to not get to use the indoor spa area though! But the room had all updated and nice finishes and the whole hotel was beautiful.

The place is a bit old, but it was nice for the price. Just a short walk to beautiful beaches. The downtown area is about a 45 minutes - hour walk, but a cheap taxi ride. We were lucky enough to visit during a big festival which was a lot of fun. The hotel staff were nice enough but not overly so. One very nice woman loaned us a stroller as ours had been lost by the airline. Pools are nice.

Quality hotel with nice apartment good breakfast helpful friendly staff and only 2 minutes walk to the beach. No boardwalk and no restaurants right on the beach so most are on a main road about 500 yards back from the beach

First room on the ground floor was awful, luckily however we were moved to the 5th floor which was better and great views. Pool was good but very busy, annoying that people put their towels down early even though they aren’t there for half the day! This should be sorted out. That said there is usually some beds. Great beach not far for toddlers.

Great hotel with shows live familly shows every night. Nice selection of pools. The kids pool was a bit cold but the 2 other main pools were good. VERY close to the beach. Perfect for families or couples. The gym is very basic but you don't really need more ! Very clean and the staff is nice.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Came in March,so pool and sea water was too cold to swim.But still ,the beach was amazing. Crystal clear water and white sand. The room was clean and spacious. We were in the mountain view apartment,but unfortunately also next to the main street. It did not say that when we booked.So was a bit disappointed. The food is nice, don't bother with the bacon though!!! Breakfast and dinner buffet,with plenty of food. Lovely little spa,with a small warm pool. (sauna,steam room ) You have to wear a bathing cap though,cost 2 EUR. There is a bust stop outside to take you to explore Alcudia Port or other places. 1.60 EUR per person ,one way. The staff is really friendly,lot's of German speakers. Overall we had a fabulous time and would go again,when it is warmer.

It was a well deserved relaxing break we had four teenagers and they were happy all week which is an achievement. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful polite and friendly. It was so clean and I had no problems with accessibility with my wheelchair.

We arrived at nearly midnight due to travel delays but were met by a courteous night porter who checked us in efficiently. The room was comfortable and very clean with some nice touches such as bath robes. The bed-settee had been made up for us. The double-glazing meant that we were not bothered by road noise when the windows were shut and the air-con was pretty quiet and efficient. The small kitchen area had a hob and fridge which were well presented. The room was cleaned and beds made daily. The outdoor areas, including the pools were likewise clean and well presented. Overall a good experience and we hope to stay here again.
