The Inn was quaint, warm and friendly. The owners were great as was the daily breakfasts included in the room rate. Daily housekeeping was also excellent. Fireplaces in every room and public spaces added to the overall ambiance.

The Inn at Ormsby Hill is the quintessential Vermont Inn experience. You are transported back in time when you walk through the front doors. The owners and staff are extremely and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent, the views are beautiful, and the atmosphere is perfect.

This property is stunning and the owners are super friendly and attentive. The location, view of the Green Mountains and access to activities was exactly what we were looking for in our low key Vermont vacation. I’m a lifelong New Englander and this trip was quintessential New England. Highly recommend.

Everything wonderful. Jack the owner was such a lovely man. Breakfasts each morning delicious and made with care. Little touches like cookies in room, cozy robes, fireplace in room make this a special place

The Inn is lovely inside and out. We enjoyed our stay and wished we had more nights just to relax at the property. The owners are so welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. We look forward to staying again. Our room had a nice view of the mountains and was so comfortable. We were surprised to find homemade chocolate chip cookies to enjoy. The outdoor area is great to sit with your coffee or wine and enjoy the view. Manchester is a charming town with lots of things to do and plenty of restaurants.

Peaceful Getaway
What a beautiful destination. Marianne and Jack have established a magnificent, quiet, pastoral, Inn at Manchester Vermont. The lodging was top-notch, the service timely and complete, the breakfast "made-to-order" (spouse is gluten and dairy-free...breakfast devoid of anything that could cause issues - Thank You!). Room was spacious and beautifully furnished and appointed - to the era. Wonderful time there...gotta get back soon!! Thank you, again, Marianne and Jack.

I booked last minute and was blown away by how lucky we were to land here. Room was over the top and breakfast I wanted to pass on but when I saw what was coming out of the kitchen I couldn’t resist. Exceeded expectations on all accounts.

Spectacular historic inn with so much character and excellent service. We stayed in the Taft suite. So special! High Bead board ceiling - just beautiful. Highly recommend!

Chess and Wine
This was a really great stay. I wish we had stayed longer. The place is very homey and the couple that runs the inn is very welcoming. I love the common area, my husband and I played chess will drinking some wine that they sell on site. I feel like had it not been covid, things might have been more fun. But for just us and staying in, this was great.

The Inn at Ormsby Hill is a magnificent B&B in historic Manchester Vermont. We were in Vermont for a ski week vacation. We ended our trip staying at this Inn and skiing at Stratton Ski Area. When we arrived, the Innkeeper Maryanne greeted us then suggested we move our room to one more centrally located. Our room was beautiful with a 4 post king bed, gas fireplace and plush bathrobes. The daily breakfast was superb! The dining area was full of antiques, many from the Pullman Corporation. Edward Ormsby was partners with Robert, son of President Lincoln and both were corporate counsel for the Pullman Corporation. Our two night stay was great. We will have to return in the spring to appreciate the gardens and the beautiful Village of Manchester.

Loved this please as a weekend getaway. We spent New Year’s Eve here. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely come back!

Cozy Inn in Manchester, VT
Beautifully decorated for Christmas warm welcoming atmosphere. The common areas are spacious each of the three rooms have a fireplace. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating. Delicious breakfast different hot enter every day. Nice room with gas fireplace and comfortable bed so relaxing. This our second Christmas we stayed at this Inn. Most likely to return for the next one. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

MaryAnn and Jack Orlando were wonderful hosts in their beautiful inn. The bedroom was beautifully furnished, the common rooms spectacular, and the homemade breakfast delicious! We will definitely return in the summer!

This property was lovely- it was very inviting in every room that we saw. the views outside were so pretty. The owners left you wanting for nothing- every little thing was available and comfortable. the food was delicious and they went out of their way to help you with anything you needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Mini-Moon winter getaway
My husband and I stayed at the Inn for our mini-moon getaway. The inn was beautiful and the Christmas decorations and lights made it extra cozy. We had a lovely bottle of champagne and adorable towels shaped like swans waiting for us in our room. We stayed in the Ethan Allen room, which had a very convenient private entrance. The yogurt I had for breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and granola. (I’m a vegetarian) My husband loved his breakfast too. It was a lovely stay and the innkeepers were so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend the Inn at Ormsby hill!

Wonderful Vermont inn
The innkeepers are lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast is included; they served yogurt with fresh fruit and omelettes (they were very happy to leave out the bacon & cheese in mine). A small frig is available for guests. My room had a small deck with a lovely view.
