My wife broke her ankle in Morocco as we were heading to the airport for Marbella. On the way to the Hotel we stopped at the hospital to have it x-rayed and casted. When we go to the La Villa Marbella at around 9:00pm it was apparent that my wife wouldn't be able to walk let alone make it up the stairs to our room, which looked very nice. They had a small ground floor room that they gave us. Not the larger suite we had reserved but not their fault.
I am not going to review the room, as it wsa a smaller less expensive room then they had ready for us, accept to say it was clean and well kept. The hotel is in a great location in the old town and is quiet even with plenty of restaurants and shopping near by.
The best thing about our stay was the staff. When we got there Heather couldn't walk or use crutches. We didn't have a wheelchair so the manager helped me carry her from the car into the room and got us all situated in the room. He then, knowing how long of a day I had, drove with me to guide me out of the old town to find free parking. In all took him and I about 1-1/2 hours. After all that he called the owner at 10:30ish to let him know our situation. the owner had a new wheelchair delivered to our room the next morning. They made sure we had everything we needed for our complicated stay including us find the medical and pharmacy services we needed. They were great. Thanks,
