This was our second stay at Jaz Almaza. This time was busier, being Eid long weekend. Service was less good than before. It was difficult to find waiter to order drinks. The resort is nice, clean pool and nice sitting areas. It's good value for the money.

Lovely resort. We visited twice during low season and they were both great stays! The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The resort has a beautiful beach, the food was excellent and the staff was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend when in Marsa Matrouh or the area.

Beautiful place, excellent location, friendly staff. There is a small lovely island accessible from the beach. Breakfast was very good but I wish they had more selections of cereals. Dinner was excellent; the salad, soup and main entry were excellent. The dessert was ok. The room fee covers half board(breakfast and dinner) but does not include drinks with dinner( I had to pay 85 LE for a lemon juice). I would definitely come back. The place is perfect for a stop between Alexandria and Siwa.

Room is super small and the hotel is ridiculously expensive with nothing special to offer. When I arrived, the electricity socket in the room was not even working. I’ve stayed in nearby hotels with cheaper rates and better service. The beach has a lot of rocks which makes it difficult to get into the water. I paid $4 for a bottle of water which actually costs around 0.65 cents. Honestly, i was not impressed at all and thought this place would be exceptional, which was not the case.

The cleaning staff not good you have to call them to clean or Change the carpet of the bed Also all Activity is for Italian nationality no nothing for Other nationality...And this is not written in your website you should write it’s for Italian other nationality don’t come Also no WiFi I complain so many times Every time they say we will fix and they’re not fixing it You have to go to the main lobby and the reception to find a connect If Anyone ask me about this hotel I will say that’s not a good hotel I will give him one star or tow star

It was amazing.you will enjoy staying inside the resort. Nothing outside the area or near. Every thing you need it will be in the resort. But no supermarket out side or shopping areas . Very nice resort but....

Crystal clear sea
- We had 2 nights in sep 2017, double room partial seaview, half-board, 340 usd inc tax. - The main highlight is the crystal clear sea and wide smooth sandy beach without rocks. Very transparent and low salt water, you can open your eyes without itching. - 2 very beautiful large pools. - the receptionist (a woman can't remember her name) made us a late checkout 2pm very easily w/o charge. - Food is good. Had variety. - Allows women with full body swim suit in the pool and beach (except in indoor pool). - Room and bed comfort are very good (w/ balcony). * Near by market is far. There was a market in the hotel premises but was closed, and I believe it is expensive. Try to get your supplies for the whole stays before arrival.. x beaches lodges are very expensive (1000 egp per day) x restaurant and the area of food stations are small and can be dense with the guest during breakfast and dinner.

WARNING - Worst hotel ever- Do not book this hotel
There are two words to describe this hotel, "Deceiving and Misleading". I reserved two rooms with two twin beds in each room. When I arrived to the hotel with my family, I was informed by the front desk that my reservation was for only one person in each room and if I want to have two people in a room, I have to pay additional significant money on top of amount I reserved. The assistant manager came and I told him that my reservation was for a room with two beds. Why the room has two beds if it was intended for only one person? He said that this is the way the hotel. Very deceiving practice that I have not seen in any other hotel. Two beds means two individuals. Any other explanation by saying it is a single room is pure misleading to the guest. Why the hotel include two beds in a room if their intention is to have a single individual in a room? Why a single individual would need two beds in a room? They deliberately did that to mislead the guests and surprise them during check in. I decided to cut my trip and stay only for one night after the horrible treatment by the front desk management. In addition, the services was very poor. I had to call four times within one hour to get an iron. The safe boxes in both rooms were not working. Don't use this hotel.

Lovely beach, but not quite a 5* resort experience
Since they are advertising and charging for a premium 5* experience, here's my review keeping that in mind. The big problem here is utilities and maintenance: - Shower: The hot water quota per room is extremely limited. Within less than 5 minutes, it starts running out and you're left having a shower with tap water temperature. - Room Facilities: The TV remote control didn't work, and neither did the Safe. The batteries had multiple bite marks as if someone was squeezing the most out of them. - Internet: It's limited to TWO devices per room (we had 3 adults). If you have a laptop and phone, that's it. Nobody else will have access to WiFi. Also, when you pay $350/night for a room, why would a 5* resort charge you $5 to use high-speed internet? Sounds like a petty charge. The "regular" internet is absolutely useless. - Sofa Bed: Beware; the extra "third bed" they will prepare for a "3 adult" visit in their Deluxe Room will be an uncomfortable sofa bed using cushions and not a mattress. It will leave you with back pain every morning. - Some entertainers/performers will aggressively try to guilt you into attending their (below average) night show, even while you're watching a game or trying to enjoy listening to the live singing on the terrace. - Luggage service: We waited ONE FULL HOUR for someone to come pick up our luggage from the room since we informed the reception. We had someone to be and didn't account for that delay.

One of a kind spot
This was one of the best resorts I visited. I have been all around the Caribbean and Asian beautiful islands, but this spot is like Paradise on earth with the Green, Blue and Turquoise water colour mix. Service is so professional and Genuine hospitality by all the staff. Special people we met were Maria and Shams from the animation team. They are so passionate about making every moment of our stay counts, and trying hard to entertain each one of our group and making sure that we're having a great time. We will definitely make sure to go back to Jaz Almaza next time we're in Egypt.

Paradise in Egypt
This resort hotel is beautiful, and exceeded my expectations. The grounds are stunning and the beach is absolute paradise. We got 2 rooms on the ground level which include a patio. The room is spacious and very comfortable. All other upper floor rooms include a balcony but to my knowledge no elevator. The hotel has a large pool, spa, gym, 2 restaurants (one buffet for breakfast and dinner and the other a la carte). Bar, a terrace cafe and convenience store also available. The staff are fantastic and really good at making guests feel comfortable and getting them to participate in events. During my one night stay, we participated in a water polo game and attended the oriental show at night. The show was very entertaining and everyone got up to dance (usually these shows tend to be cheesy for locals but everyone joined in). There was also a preshow for the kids in a separate theater/stage. The highlight for the location is the beach and the crystal clear turquoise waters. The pictures are absolutely accurate. This resort in my opinion is perfect for families (with or without kids), couples, and friends getaways. Highly highly recommend staying here.

We were told that this is a 5 star hotel... In reality it does not deserve the stars except for the beach which is simply spectacular. The service is slow and sloppy... The room was not clean when we checked in... We requested it to be be re-cleaned and came back to find it still not clean. We enjoyed the beach and ended up checking out the next day.

Hotel is located 35Km far away from Marsa Matrouh. Internet is free for 256Mbs only!!! Hotel price is very expensive in comparison to its services and entertainments. No buses or taxies available between the hotel and Marsa Matruh downtown.

Extraordinary sea spot, amazing crystal water. Rooms are very comfortable & clean. Food is v.good with various options of (a la carte/ open buffet) restaurants across the three hotels within the same bay. Staff is so nice & helpful. Activities(Spa, beach & water games, kids area) are v.good. If you are not Italian (my case), then forget about the animation team, as they only speak Italian & ignore all non-Italian people,and most of the time, they won't even salute you.
