The Standard High Line
4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1013)
"Hotel was nice but a bit overrated. A couple of incidents with front office staff and guest services which indicate they need some training. The high scores are due to its fantastic location and amenities, such as the grill restaurant and rooftop bar. Definitely worth a stay for these. It’s a shame staying at the hotel doesn’t gain you entry into the club. The queues were ridiculous both nights we tried to get in and we eventually gave up both times. Chelsea Pines Inn
2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (874)
"Really friendly staff at Chelsea Pines Inn. Clean, comfortable room - average size by NYC standards but that means not cramped. WiFi signal good. Killer location in the heart of Chelsea; 1/2 block to the subway. Nice backyard garden with plenty of seating. Lacks some of the amenities I'd usually prefer (gym, pool, restaurant) and there's no elevator but if you can manage stairs it's a great price for a safe comfortable NYC hotel. Would stay there again."

Dream Downtown, by Hyatt
4.5 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (1037)
"If you’re aren’t there to party and don’t want a loud hotel, this one isn’t for you. If you want top notch luxury, this probably isn’t for you either. What the hotel is, is a very cool, scene of a hotel with a good vibe, and party feel. It’s certainly not 5 stars but it’s everything promised. Club goes until 4, so expect thumping. The bars are cool. The pool is novel. Downside for us was the shower smelled mildewy after use. Were we happy we went, yes, would be stay there again, leaving towards...
