The room had a lamp and it had an electrical short and I had to disconnected for safety reasons, the one outlet by the bed was not good so that was an inconvenience. The city was working on repairs to the Zocalo making slot of noise right outside of our window, with no air conditioning in the room it was impossible to open the window. We also try the restaurant for breakfast and the Enfrijoladas where horrible bad experience with the restaurant. The staff was delightful especially the Housekeeper and the elevator staff.

Hotel is located steps from the Zocalo. But, because of the location, our room was very noisy with all the preparation and take down of construction for the concert in the Zocalo. Our room did not have air conditioning but there was a nice breeze with the windows open. It’s an older hotel but well maintained. I loved the ambiance of Mexico City culture and decor. Staff was amazing, they were very helpful me with my mother’s wheelchair.

Very old building that we could hear everything around us even with the windows closed. No air conditioning made it a little hard to sleep or take a nap. And I'm not sure, but I think the furniture is as old and dirty as the building.

This is a hotel with a lot of history. Located in the heart of Mexico City. This hotel is convenient to all the attractions the city has to offer. Now, this hotel is old school, missing many modern amenities. Like AC, updated bathroom fixtures ect. But the charm of this place dissolves these lacking amenities. A few cracks and peeling paint, this place exudes history. And the nightly price point helps with a good night sleep.
