"Excellent stay - have stayed before at McDonald Villacana resort, but needed to be a little closer to Calahonda this time. The apartment we had was on the first floor with a sea view from the balcony. The apartment was larger than expected and had a large balcony too (big enough for a table with 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers without being cramped). An added bonus was the washing machine in the apartment. Food in the restaurant was great - wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend."

"We wanted a two night stay in La Cala de Mijas and we knew the location of the Carmen Hotel. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags and the gentleman on reception was very friendly and said we could check in at the same time and our room would be ready a little later which was fine. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast both mornings which were cooked on request and was very tasty. Would certainly recommend to family & friends."
