"We stayed in the property over Christmas and New Year. The property manager was extremely attentive and helpful and had even provided a Christmas tree and decorations for us. The house was very clean and had beautiful views. The kitchen was well equipped. Our only problem was that the shower did not work well and the hot water was limited."

"Santa Maria is a stunning property in a beautiful & quiet location ideally situated for Orvieto. The apartment was comfortable & well equipped. The owners were most helpful & pleasant. We loved their collection of animals: 2 friendly dogs & an assortment of cats & peacocks. We also enjoyed being able to pick vegetables from the owner’s garden. The swimming pool was wonderful. A very enjoyable stay."

"Francesco couldn’t have been kinder. He gave us great recommendations of places to go, came every day to clean the pool and sweep the courtyard. The villa is a short and easy drive to Orvieto and lots of other pretty hilltop towns for coffee and pizza. Shops only 10 mins away for groceries. Tranquil and beautiful property."

"The pool area is exactly like the picture. A real oasis. This house is for those who like originality. Its layout is unusual and the deco is superbly personal. So many touches that made us smile and feel happy. "Such a beautiful resort. Absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all so amazing and helpful. Rome was about 1.5 - 2 hours away by transit but it was so worth it to stay at this resort. Very easy to take the transit. Very authentic Italian and lots of shopping and restaurants near by. This resort is up on a high hill that cars cannot go up so be prepared to walk up a step hill or 2 but worth it!"
