"We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a great location for access to the beach and for walking along the promenade.The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, always jolly and hard working. The food was very good with lots of choices, was not always very hot. The only thing we were disappointed with was the evening entertainment, if you enjoy lots of guitar playing you’ll probably enjoy it. "

"We stayed only one night because we took the ferry from Gran Canaria to visit friends from Germany who were staying at Aldriana. It was a successful visit and we completely enjoyed our first stay at Cactus Garden. We would be happy to stay again. "

"Food was wide ranging and of an excellent standard at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very small glasses for beer in the evenings are a source of frustration as is the constant need to login to Wi-fi. Hotel looks to have been refurbished in fairly recent past though not all of it has been done successfully e.g. bathrooms look great though mirrors are clearly old and worn with floor tiles in reception cracked and broken. Great value out of season holiday. Hotel has many steps/stairs though there are lifts - not all of which work all of the time. Well located with the main shops and beach only a short walk away."

"Mandy on reception absolutely brilliantly helpful going above beyond and beyond when we had to return early for medical emergency! Hotel food has improved considerably Only minus were bed lights which are old … Overall a wonderful stay at fab hotel !"

"Hotel nice and clean, however I was very I’ll from food poisoning from the dining room, I could not eat anything from the dining room for 2 days and could only drink water, the dining room and bar area are far from good places to relax, canteen style restaurant and airport like bar, no adult only place to sit and no outside place to sit after 6pm, such a lot of areas closed off at night which would be so pleasant for adults, pool bar and all of the area shuts at six just leaving the one main bar in reception which is very loud and lacks atmosphere, would only stay again on room only basis "

"The location was ideal, 2 mins from a beautiful beach with plenty of restaurants close by. Apartment was on 2 levels with plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay there again"
