A rather complicated entrance / exit for non technical residents. Lots of stairs inside the building for the elderly. Fab views and the best omelette ever !!! We will return.

Beautiful place, nice staff. A bit of a walk to beach & restaurants, 10-15 min. And further to Point. Very cheap to get Uber back. If you want quiet here, you have it.

Excellent stay
We had an excellent stay and receptionist/host was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful . Thought the place was lovely and we got upgraded so a nice surprise . Didn’t get to use the pool as not there long but looked lovely . Breakfast was excellent made to order and a very fresh fruit salad was very tasty too. Would recommend and definitely stay there again

Stunning views
The guest house was excellent with the views over the harbour stunning. The service provided by the hostess was excellent and she never hesitated to see to our needs quickly and efficiently. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and the only complaint is that the decor was perhaps a little outdated. However, this would not change our minds to stay there again if we were in Mossel Bay

Good, not great.
The staff at this property were friendly and accommodating. No issues on that front. Unfortunately the hotel is starting to show its age, so that should be noted. The room was clean(ish), and spacious. I believe it was a family room (just outside the ‘Honest Bar’). And yes you read that correctly. Picture the bar in your uncle’s basement. Straight out of the 1990’s. When we checked in the front desk staff informed me of the broken WiFi. It was super inconvenient, but at least they were honest and up front.

Warm, friendly, clean and modern.
Fabulous! We were greeted upon arrival by three lovely young ladies who made us feel welcome immediately. They were very helpful with info. On where to eat and within minutes had booked our free shuttle to the restaurant of our choice. We received a free upgrade and stayed in a beautiful room with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious and never ending coffee from the espresso machine was a bonus. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Loved the guest house and all it offered. Small details like free beach towels and restaurants offering free shuttle service made the whole experience easy and very enjoyable.

The room was beautiful and pristinely clean. Views were amazing! The staff was lovely and the best part was a very convenient shuttle to take you to and from the restaurants as the roads are very hilly and difficult to drive. Also our driver gave us a nice history lesson as he drove us around. A must stay. And great value.

Bar -t -Nique is a lovely guest house. Great service, good breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. It’s a little walk to the centre of town but the guest house will call shuttles. Mossel Bay itself was not what we expected.

Tucked away in the hillside, this hotel has excellent views of the town and the sea. Only a short walk/drive into the town centre. Breakfast was good.

Marvellous in Mossel Bay
Excellent hosts and a pristine place in which to stay. Detailed attention to every aspect from reception to departure. Superb room. Clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. May prove a little tricky to find without satnav or detailed directions, but well worth the effort!

Lovely hotel with great views, lovely bar lounge & terrace area with honestly bar. Helpful staff & a great breakfast. The location is on a very steep hill & steep drive way access to reception, not a problem if you have a vehicle. At night the hotel offers free return transfers to certain restaurants in the area, we choice an Italian some 8 miles away on other side of bay but it was well with the free drive, as the place was great

Beautiful view!!
Wasn't sure what to expect coming into a guest house. My husband and I stayed for our 1 year wedding anniversary (visiting from the US) I would highly recommend especially for romantic getaway. Beautiful view overlooking the water and endless mountain range - comfortable high end rooms - great breakfast and staff. The only negative was that our bedroom window overlooked our neighbors patio table. Other than that it was great and I plan to come back again. p.s. watch out for the super steep driveway.

The guesthouse had a great staff who were all very accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and the view was tremendous. The breakfast was made to order. I would easily stay here again.

Great views, beautiful room, spotlessly clean, good location but car needed, however, the breakfast was below average. Bacon tasteless it has been frozen and recooked, or steamed. Bakes beans less than one spoonful, orange juice cheap and the boerewors was dried out, not impressed.

We stayed here as part of our Garden Route trip for 1 night. Easy to get to and plenty of nice restaurants just a 5 minute drive away.

Small hotel on a very steep slope
Access to the hotel was via a very steep slope with no steps for access on foot. Our room was tired looking but ok. No wifi reception in our room - only in communal areas which was a nuisance. Could hear guests in next room talking on their balcony whilst in room.
