"We stayed for 3 weeks and loved every day of our visit. The house is comfortable and has everything anyone could need. The manager hosts are thoughtful and helpful. The view is of the magnificent Twelve Bens Mountains and wonderful baby lambs, and occasional Irish hares hopping around the stones. You will love it."

"Everything was perfect for us to enjoy the area and drive into clifden for restaurants and pubs for traditional Irish music. The road is a bit narrow towards the house the last bit but we did it slowly. We also enjoyed great meals at the nearby Connemara sands hotel just near the house."

"Sandy heels was the perfect place for my short break. Very well equipped with a nice comfy bed and cosy lounge. Perfect location, close to pubs and restaurants (I especially recommend the Shamrock bar). Easy to get to lots of beautiful locations. It was the perfect base to explore Connemara from. I will definitely be back!"
