"Great spot. But pay close attention to the room you pick. Building D has very low quality rooms in a bit of an odd area of town that has a lot of construction happening nearby when we were there. Building B is wonderful though. So if your budget allows, book rooms there instead of D. The staff ... Particularly the owner's son ... Was super helpful."

"This is such a great location, a short walk into either the old port area or the new port. One of the few swimming pools on the island and great views across to other islands such as Hydra. They really make you feel like part of the family, a real home from home feel and a real gift for hospitality. Very rarely do you come across gems such as this. Spetses itself is also a lovely island, definitely one to have on your wish list. "

"Location was excellent, place was lovely, breakfast was wonderful. Proprietors did not speak any English but we communicated pretty well despite the barrier. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed to be required to pay in cash upon checkout. There was even a sign that said they accepted credit cards but she was insistent on cash. Wiped out my cash supply and due to transaction fees and exchange rates cash is much more expensive for travel. Found this to be typical in Greece, however,...

"The room was modern, clean and spectacular. The hosts were exceptional - helpful and very pleasant. And the breakfast - so very tasty. Freshly squeezed orange juice, espresso/cappuccino, fruit, yogurt, pastries. The property is not right in the downtown area - but parking is easy and it's a very short drive. Highly recommend!"
