"Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops. "Hotel located 5 min walk from main train station. Hotel signage is small and easily missed. I had e-mailed a few days previous with our arrival time and Maria was on site to greet us. Maria’s English was better than our Italian and she was very helpful with places to see and how to get to them. Room was clean and tidy although breakfast was a little disappointing. Ideal hotel to use as a short stay base to explore Naples, Pompei and surrounding areas."
