"First the POSITIVE: Beautiful home with an incredible view. Lots of space, wonderful furnishings. Local managers are responsive and helpful when we asked about pool temperature (too cold to use most days), beach towels (locked up and unavailable), bike condition (broken and un usable). Note the listing also indicates a clothes dryer is available - but is is not functional. The NEGATIVE: "Musty, stale smell" (from the basement presumably) so penetrates the house that the smell is always present....

"Thank you Helene and Ricardo for allowing us to stay at your beautiful vacation home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, it looked just like the pictures and was very clean. We enjoyed the restaurant suggestions and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our steamer pot :) The instructions to find the location were very good and your communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend and if we ever come back to Nazare we will be rebooking."

"I had such a great experience in Nazaré and this place had everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, there was a full kitchen, a washer to wash my clothes and a laundromat down the street with clean dryers. The location was perfect. There’s a market just down the street and a fruit market. The beach is less than 5 minutes away and the property owners were extremely responsive and helpful. Would go back here in a second."

"A lovely hotel in the centre of Nazare with an excellent location next to the beautiful central town square and a one minute walk from the beach. Our favourite part was the amazing breakfast room on the top floor with glass walls giving you a nearly 360 degree view of the town and ocean below and the cliffs to the one side. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon. "
