Overall the hotel is adequate One of the chairs was ripped and one of the legs was about to fall off. Also, probably the lowest quality mattress and pillows I have ever experienced at a hotel. But it’s reasonably priced and a good location.

A nice, quiet room. Stylish. I would say that the housekeeping was a bit inconsistent - i had to ask for a refill of toilet paper and a set of wash clothes after the room was cleaned. Also, the floors of my room were not clean. But I would stay again for sure!

We loved our stay at the Virgin Hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well-designed everything works perfectly, excellent condition and clean, the best, our breathtaking view to the Empire State. The surroundings are not so nice but just one block away you'll be in a very nice area, with lots of restaurants and cafes. The staff members were great and very helpful, special thanks to Mark, he was amazing. Overall an exceptional stay!

The Virgin Hotels in Manhattan is a clean, well-decorated, and trendy Hotel. It has a nice terrace, rooms are brand new and clean. What requires work still is service in the dining and breakfast area. Service is slow; they only have one machine for espresso and cappuccinos, which does not keep up with customers' requests (I waited 30 minutes for an espresso, and the cappuccino could not arrive on time).

For a new hotel there’s a lot that did not work. In my room it was the TV, coffee machine and fire alarm (which randomly went off at 7am, in my room only). Additionally, the rooms are not “sound proof”. My neighbors had a party at 12am, and whilst reception did call and ask them to keep it down that just prompted them to be louder. I felt unsafe and had to request a room change, which I got but it was a downgrade. I received no discounts or credits for the inconvenience. The only good thing was there was a very helpful and nice associate at the front desk.

My five star review says it all. My only criticism is having to pay a resort fee rather than including it in the price. I didn’t use any amenities because I stayed busy but you could plan a weekend trip and enjoy the spa, restaurants, and bars just in the hotel. I really didn’t want to put a bad review, as I truly believe this is an awesome hotel overall. I just had a bad experience dealing with them. I made a booking via Expedia app. I wanted to book a later date, but made a genuine mistake that I booked for the current date at the time being, and momentarily the same minute I called the hotel to change the date, and explained the situation, and they said they can’t do anything until Expedia reaches out to them, i talked to Expedia customer service, they said they’re working on this with the hotel and will reach out to me once the get a response. The day after i got a message from Expedia saying that hotel rejected my request for changing date because I should’ve requested date change 48 hrs before the checkin time. I mean common guys, I really hoped for some human understanding for the genuine mistake and i even called everyone the minutes after i booked, but saying that i needed to reach out 48hrs before the checkin knowing that I booked for the current date? This just doesn’t make any sense.
