Cozy Mountain Retreat
My family came from different parts of the US in order to attend my wife’s sister’s graduation in Manchester. This home was a perfect fit for us to enjoy our time in NH. The house is cozy and provides a comfortable stay for a larger group. We would definitely recommend staying here as it’s in a great spot to enjoy many outdoor activities. Many amenities are included allowing you to cook, stay and relax worry free!

Comfortable home with nice view
My family and I stayed here to attend a nearby event on Lake Sunapee. A very comfortable, cozy, and clean home conveniently located next to the lake and mountains. Lots of sitting room and comfortably sleeps 10! We especially enjoyed the view off the back deck.

Great choice for a family!
This is a spacious home, and was a great choice for our adult children and their spouses to be with us over the Thanksgiving holiday. This home is pet-friendly, very clean, and Jeff was very accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we have a family gathering!

We loved this location!! It was central for us to access many sights in the area. My husband and his family met here from Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, and Georgia. None of us had been to this area and we found it convenient for sight-seeing. The house was well maintained and came with many amenities that we enjoyed. The view from the back deck was amazing! Would definitley recommend

Great location and view!
We enjoyed our long weekend at this property. It was very clean and well stocked with plenty of room for our group of six adults. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed the view from the back deck. Jeff answered any questions quickly and we would definitely stay here again.

Great place
Really nice place. Tons of room. Loved the view!!! TWO washers and driers. We (five adults) really enjoyed this house. It needs better lighting in the sunroom. We struggled to play cards here. Also in the four poster bedroom. We also struggled with internet. No service at times (including Wi-Fi), but realized it was indicative of the area, not just the house. Overall, we loved the place. Would highly recommend it.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was spacious and very well supplied. The area is quiet, and one can observe a million stars while sitting on the back porch - which also provides a wonderful, private, view during the day.

I feel as though the pictures don't do it justice, the property is beautiful and the views cannot be beat. The house is very comfortable with so many places to sit and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here and recommend it to other families looking for a nice weekend getaway.

Wonderful Place for our annual ladies' weekend!
My four 60-something friends and I had a wonderful time at this delightful location. The place was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and plenty of room for the five of us to relax in comfort. There were enough beds that no one had to share which is a big plus for us at this point, and there are two bedrooms downstairs for those that might have trouble with stairs. (Although one bed is one of those raised ones, so if there are mobility issues, just keep that in mind. I used the other downstairs room, though and was quite comfortable. The views out the big picture windows were spectacular. It was cool weather while we were there so we did not use the deck at all, but the cheerful sunroom was also very nice for relaxing in the afternoon. It was a short ride into Sunapee where we did the boat tour of the lake and visited a few gift shops and had dinner at one of several restaurants. We did not have any issues that we had to contact the owner about during our stay, but while in the planning stages, he was very quickly responsive to any questions I had. We were very happy with our selection.

Very relaxing, comfortable, clean and cozy place with wonderful views. We enjoyed warmth of woodstove while sipping tea or wine. Altho a bit dated and dark, everything you need is there. Beds were comfy.

Fall golf
Great place to stay for our fall golf trip. Close to all courses that we played. House was comfortable for 9 adults. Deck was nice and the propane fireplace was great to sit around at night. Lighting was a little dim and a few boards could use a little tlc because of some water damage but not enough to change my 5 star rating. Jeff the owner was great to deal with and answered all my questions promptly.

Lovely Place to Stay
Very clean and comfortable place to stay. We really felt at home. The house is actually larger than it appeared in the pictures, which was a wonderful surprise. The setting was lovely and the sunsets are amazing!! It was so relaxing. It was a busy long weekend for us, so it was so pleasant to have such a nice place to put our feet up at the end of the day.

Beautiful setting!
This house was perfect for our group of five attending my uncle's burial service. The view out the back is beautiful. It was very clean, and we especially appreciated the satellite dish TV and good wifi. Jeff was easy to communicate with and addressed all questions promptly. We'll definitely stay here again!

A really great space to spread out. The views from the deck are stunning! Only critique is the beds aren’t the best, if you have an air mattress maybe bring it but other then that a really great stay!

Terrific family stay!
We had a terrific time at this home near Lake Sunapee. Plenty of space, nice view off the back deck, and pet friendly. We stayed with family and went boating nearby at our aunt’s house and had fun hiking and at adventure parks. Jeff was very responsive and all went well. House amenities were very helpful (kitchen, supplies, linens, towels, washer/dryer). We enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful Rustic Getaway
Everything about this home and our stay was perfect. The house itself is a beautiful, chalet style home with a large terrace overlooking a lot of nature. Everything in the house was of good quality and worked perfectly. Best of all, there were no surprises; all was exactly as it was described, the landlord was very hospitable and available to answer any questions we had. It was a great stay. From 85 yo Aunt Janey to 19 yo Matt, we all had a great time! The outdoor deck, with its peaceful view, was a particular hit with all 10 of us and everyone agreed we’d be back when our next family gathering brought us together again.

Wedding Weekend
We rented this house because my daughter was getting married in the area. Not only was it perfect for family members to stay for the weekend, but the bride and bridesmaids also used the house to do hair and makeup preparations the day of the wedding. Plenty of room for ten ladies to eat, drink, and get dressed - the porch room was perfect with a little built in bar and tropical vibe. The deck and view were fantastic, and the pups enjoyed playing in the yard and stream. The air conditioning was priceless and Jeff was a great host.

Lovely spot! Cozy yet roomy home.
Love the coziness of this expansive place. Even the main room with its two-story ceilings felt cozy as we all sat and gabbed into the night, catching up with three generations of family who gathered here for a niece's/granddaughter's/cousin's wedding in nearby Bradford, NH. One slight hiccup with the boiler, but the owner was easy to reach and quick to respond, so it was no big deal. We would absolutely stay here again. Love, love, love the views, and appreciated having enough rooms and beds for us all. Thank you for providing this beautiful property for us and others to use!

Perfect wedding weekend
We were here for our sister’s wedding about half an hour away and our stay was lovely. The property had plenty of room for the 8 of us including two children and room for our 3 vehicles in the driveway. The views from the back deck were beautiful and when we had an issue with the lock Jeff got back to us and resolved the issue very quickly. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for something in this area.

Great place
The cottage is in an ideal location, close to Lake Sunappe and ski resort. Beautiful views!!! It has all you need for a weekend away. It accomaded two families of 4 and one family of 2. Very easy communication with the host. We had a great time! Would come back!

Wonderful property wonderful experience
Wonderful property wonderful experience. Our family rented this house to stay for Thanksgiving weekend so we could visit with our daughter in Bradford. It was a great house, well-equipped and plenty of room, clean and tidy. Check in was a breeze and the owner was responsive to all our correspondence. Would stay here again in an instant!

Excellent customer service
The owner made me very happy when I directly called him to get the access code to enter the house. It was late in the evening and we were very tire and hungry returning from our long hike that day. I forgot to bring my instructions on how to access the house and luckily I had his phone number to call and him left a msg to call me back and he call within in minutes. His quick respond to my phone call msg made me very happy. I highly recommend the house.

Great house, excellent location
This property sits in a very quiet neighborhood (very dark at night too). Great view of Mt Sunapee. Lots of nice hikes located in Newbury where the dogs could go off leash. Close to Mt Sunapee and Mt Kearsarge for hiking and the mountain road via Rollins State Park. The house is clean, ample room to accommodate larger groups, has a nice large deck, and a nice three season room. The property has all the functions you need for an enjoyable and relaxing getaway.

Hoosier family for a wedding
First, I apologize for forgetting to write an entry in the guest book, an oversight which was merely due to our busy weekend while in the area to attend a wedding at the Dexter Inn near Sunnapee. After we left I realized not only forgetting to sign the book but as of now I cannot recall where I moved it after I removed the tablecloth from the dining room table to be laundered. I hope I left it in a safe place, easily found. My husband and I used the bedroom with the high bed and were a bit bothered with the scrunchy sound it made. We have never experienced that with any other bed. Other than the carpet being somewhat soiled we were pleased with the house for our stay. Thank you.

Thanks for your review! Carpet and furniture is already scheduled to be cleaned. Unfortunately with the heavy guest load I couldn’t work our annual cleaning of the carpets this summer as is our normal time to do this. Promise it will be better next time!

Lovely place to stay
We stayed here for a wedding and had a great time. The house is huge and there is plenty of room to move around and do things. We were quite busy so we didn’t have much time to explore outside and the weather wasn’t great, but we would love to come here again! The views are amazing! Everyone was very happy with the property
