"The property was immaculate and well equipped. The host, Jane was extremely friendly and helpful. A quiet peaceful spot with chickens and sheep wondering around on the common land outside the enclosed garden. My only criticism is that the staircase was steep and difficult for me but it didn’t spoil our stay. I shall recommend to friends."

"The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. "We had a lovely stay here. Stunning views from the cottage and was all very cosy and well-equipped. Great walks nearby and a pub within walking distance. We used the fire in the living room but it doesn't draw very well, so the room got very smoky (but might be my fire-making skills not being up to scratch!). Not the easiest to get to, especially if you have a large car. You'll need the directions, as it's really tucked away."

"A lovely little cottage that had everything you need. We stayed with our two young children. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it, but we have two areas that weren't perfect. Getting the boiler just right took a while. There wasnt enough hot water on our first night, so the kids ended up with a tepid bath and theln in trying to sort that out we set the boiler to come on early in the morning so we could have hot showers - the boiler is noisy and so woke us up very early. "I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert.
