"Very nice place to stay. Clean and good view of the beach. Music in restaurant below was a bit intrusive and went on until ten pm. Possibly will be longer in summer months. We went in October. Free parking for renters. Recommended if you don't mind music all day."

"We loved our stay at the Victoria. Please don't come expecting the most modern decor or facilities but if you are an appreciator of old school style and don't mind a bit of mildew or peeling paint, then the Victoria is an incredible place to stay in Newquay. We brought our young spaniel and he loved it, staff were so welcoming and the place has such charm, is located *perfectly* in town with wonderful sea views. We fell in love, and we will be back! "

"So, check-in was ok. Was asked for a name, no ID check (I'm not sure what I think of that) and no deposit needed/requested (which I'm happy about) and the lady at the desk went through all of the general stuff you'd expect them to. So, the room. It is modern looking, clean and better than the prior hotel we stayed in when we went to London last year. However, there are issues with this one, both safety and experience issues just like the other one but here they are: - Damp (water) patches around...
