Stay at a castle
This site was in beautiful countryside with easy access. Ramona was extremely helpful and responsive. The trails were gorgeous and a nice escape from the city.

Enjoyable Stay
This is a very pleasant apartment adjacent to a very impressive castle with splendid grounds. About 30 minute walk into centre of Warrenpoint. Owners very helpful and quickly responded to queries and minor problems we encountered. Beds extremely comfortable - probably the best I have experienced in a rental property. The lounge area would benefit from some comfy sofas as current furniture is not very functional or comfortable. Otherwise well equipped for our needs.

Living in a Castle
What a glorious property. the landscape was beautiful, the people were so nice and helpful and the apartment was super. We were able to do laundry, cook home cooked meals and sleep in an actual castle. It was fantastic. I highly recommend this location for a spectacular stay. Thank you, Dana Martinez

Beautiful Castle Apartment
Our family enjoyed staying at this property. It was extremely clean and had all of the things necessary for a comfortable stay. The castle grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the property. The local area has many interesting places to visit and is not far from Dublin and Belfast.

Spotless, convenient, well equipped and will definitely be on our to do list for later in the year. Host didn't greet us but check in was easy. I'd have liked to meet host as we felt unsure about walking around the castle grounds so we didn't explore as we didn't want to walk somewhere we shouldn't! Otherwise excellent stay

This is a lovely property, I’m almost reluctant to over recommend it as it might get so busy I can’t book it again! Very comfortable but elegant rooms, fabulous bath! Lovely views and places to go.

A Dream Stay
First of all, Ramona could not have been a better hostess. She was an excellent communicator and as kind as can be. Second, the place is fantastic! It’s elegant and has ALL the mod cons whilst being in the oldest part of the castle. It’s pretty spectacular! The kitchen is well-equipped, the dishwasher and washer/dryer do a fantastic job and we were easily able to cook at home every night as if it were our own house (which was important since we have a 4-year old). Speaking of, our 4-year old absolutely LOVED the fireplace and candles—he asked for a candlelit dinner each night “so I can really enjoy it.” We loved it too. The fact that it was decorated for Christmas was an unexpected bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend it and Ramona highly enough!

We had the most wonderful time at Narrow Water Castle. Comfortable beds, amazing sleep, warm and welcoming. You could spend hours and hours roaming the estate grounds. Such a bonus. I can’t wait to go back again and again. Ramona is a perfect host and we appreciated her attentiveness.

Great Castle
We all loved the unique experience of staying in castle. The accommodation was comfortable and well furnished. The town of Warrenpoint was exceptional and all four resturants we ate in were superb. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to this area.

What a wonderful property! Very private. The beds were comfortable. All the rooms were very large. The kitchen had everything we needed. We are table gatherers and so it was great to have a large table to sit around. The grounds are lovely. We found the location very convenient. I highly recommend this lovely property.

Live like a King and Queen
We thoroughly enjoyed living like kings and queens (or close to it) it in this side building at Narrow Water castle. We appreciated being outside of the the touristy areas and being able to walk around the woods. We were even able to arrange a horseback ride through the woods with the local equestrian manager. You'll definitely want to rent a car to get here. Warrenpoint is about 2 miles away for the grocery store, etc. Newry has everything else you may want like a movie theater, mall, etc. We had lovely weather and enjoyed the Narnia trails in Warrenpoint. Plenty of room to spread out for our family of 4. Kids enjoyed the good WiFi when we were there. Good kitchen and cooking equipment.

Perfect vacation retreat
The Castle apartment was a wonderful place to start our Irish/Ulster vacation. Our family of 3 adults had plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds, great location for day trips, and a warm toasty fire to enjoy at night. The only issue is that now every where we stay is being measured in comparison and can't compete. We will definitely plan to return.

Fell in love with Narrow Water
This charming castle apartment was the perfect choice for our stay in Ireland. We wanted to avoid the typical hotel and opt for a place with interesting character....and we hit the jackpot. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped and full of charm. Plus, we had so much fun exploring the beautiful castle grounds and all of its unique features. Our hostess, Ramona, was the greatest...she was so warm and fun...and helpful with every one of our questions. We were very sad to see our week come to an end...and truly hope to return some day. From beginning to end, our experience could not have been better!!!

Centrally located, great accomodations, plus you get to stay in part of a castle!
This worked out fantastic for my husband, myself and our 3 kids. We have lots of family in the area so it was centrally located and very easy to navigate to and from. It has 2 bedrooms, with a queen in one and 2 beds in another plus we got a cot for another child. It has an open floor plan other than that which is great for socializing plus a small kitchen, perfect for eating meals in. There is a microwave, stove, dishwasher and combo washer/dryer. Ramona was very accommodating, responded quickly, and was very helpful. Warrenpoint is a 5 minute drive, Rostrevor about 10 minutes, and Newry about 10 minutes. It is about an hour north of Dublin and an hour south of Belfast - we went to both. So, a great country visit, but close to the cities and tons of stuff to do, shopping, etc. The castle grounds are beautiful and we even took a ride to the horse stables. If we had enough time we would have booked a trail ride. We will most certainly be back and recommend it to all our friends and family!

If you’ve navigated here looking for a holiday rental - look no further. This apartment made the perfect base for exploring Northern Ireland over a 4 day period. It’s close to just enough to be entertained but far enough away really allow for some rest and relaxation. The apartment itself is beyond superb. The details, the amenities (the soaking tub, washer and dryer, dishwasher) all make for a 1st class experience. The size of the apartment is wonderful - I was visiting family in the area and was able to have them over for a small gathering. Everyone commented on how fabulous the apartment was. On to Ramona - she’s tremendous. One of the most lovely people to chat to and so very helpful. She was always close by when needed but left you to your own devices - you really will feel like you’re in your own home. We will definitely be back!

Wow...definitely a five star property. Lovely host, stayed in contact and welcomed us with snacks and a tour of the apartment. Lovingly restored property with fabulous grounds to explore. Restoration retained some of the original features but added modern amenities. This apartment has everything you need and I wish we could have stayed longer. A short 5 minute drive to restaurants, groceries and scenery but secluded, quiet and peaceful. A great stay...highly recommended!!

Quaint apartment in terrace of cottages attached to the main castle buildings. All modern conveniences, clean, comfortable beds, lots of books, games, dvds and tourist info for guest's use. Decorated and furnished in period style. Quiet and peaceful location buy within minutes of Warrenpoint and Newry. Be sure to walk the grounds, meet the castle dogs and see the horses grazing.

A great place to stay.
We spent a week in this apartment at Narrow Water Castle in September 2016, and found it very enjoyable. The castle grounds are beautiful. The apartment was nicely appointed, very comfortable and clean, and appliances were new. Modern TVs in two rooms, with a DVD player and several DVDs supplied, a good cable channel lineup, fast WiFi. The manager Martina was responsive to our requests. The location is excellent, very near both Newry and Warrenpoint, and less than an hour from Belfast.

This is top class accommodation!
Wasn't quite sure what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. It is just like the photos, very good furnishings. My wife is normally hard to please when it comes to accommodation but she was well impressed. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, modern kitchen with everything you need. Being able to walk in the vast gardens was a plus too. Overall very happy with the place and will stay again if back in the area.

Wonderful experience, beautiful accommodations
My husband and I together with our teenage granddaughter recently stayed at the castle. We enjoyed wonderful views of the Mourne Mountains, Carlingford Lough, and Warrenpoint. Martina met us on our arrival and was a wonderful contact. The castle dogs, Dash and Hershey, were fun to watch. The accommodations have been lovingly restored and were very modern. The location was exactly what we were looking for - peaceful, removed from too much activity but convenient to two local villages (Newry and Warrenpoint), and quiet. We enjoyed dining in but also found several local pubs that served wonderful food. We would visit here again without a second thought. Thank you very much for offering this opportunity to stay in a real castle. My granddaughter and I truly felt like princesses!

A unique holiday experience
We spent a week May 7-May14 at Narrow Water Castle. The apartment is all that is presented on the site and more. A very warm welcome. A nicely designed acccomodation, where old and new blend in beautifully. Old Victorian flavour living room, dining area, spacious comfortable rooms. And new modern bathrooms and kitchen with quality appliances. We like to cook our evening meal and relax. The apartment made this very easy. The lands surrounding the Castle are marvelous. We also witnessed the bluebells forming an endless carpet in the nearby woods. From Warrenpoint we visited Bru Na Boinne, Armagh, Lower Lough Erne, Glens of Antrim, Belfast, Giant's Causeway, Mourne mountains and Mourne Coastal Way. We definitely recomment this apartment.

We were thrilled with this historic, elegant apartment
Two hours after we arrived and settled in, my wife turned to me and said "I don't think there's a woman alive who wouldn't enjoy staying here." The apartment is beautiful. The house is very old, the original 17th century manor house before the 19th century "Downton" style wing was built. There is antique furniture and tasteful touches. But it is also refurbished with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. It is truly fabulous value. It's among the best places we've ever stayed.
