2 night stop over in Nice. Great hotel location just a walk away from the shopping mall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, with water fountains to top up bottles in the room. Fridge in room was a extra. Staff were happy to warm my daughter's food we brought with us on the first night as she has an allergy. Free shuttle to and from airport and to la Gare St Laurent du Var. Reception happy for us to call for pick up whenever we were ready.

It is all about staff and attitude. As a customer we seemed to be a major inconvenience for the front desk staff! We asked about when restaurant was open and that did not seem to be worthy of a response. We called in morning about airport shuttle and were asked if we booked it. As we had not phone was put on counter, end of conversation. I walked down expecting to see busy checkout, no one. Shuttle response was too much to ask. One redeeming employee, shuttle bus driver, offered to take us early and very helpful! Stayed many times because close to the airport, be clear never again.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel offered all the amenities we needed. It was just a short walk to dining options and the beach! We especially loved Felix the cat who greeted us in the lobby. Nice to have a built in mouser!

Extremely Narrow Beds
Booked a room last minute due to a flight cancellation. We were given a room with 2 single beds which were extremely narrow and I'm not a large person. The room was very outdated and not like any other Novatel that we have stayed in

Staff not friendly, Bed clothes dirty, towel dirty, room with lamp broken, had plenty of staff in the restaurant for dinner, but still waited long for the service, breakfast is only one staff. The good thing is the location, but nothing else.

We strongly recommend this hotel. It is very clean, the staff are very nice, and it is conveniently located next to the shopping center & bus stop and near the beach. Also, we used the restaurant’s breakfast buffet which was great!

Don’t stay here
Do not stay here unless the smell of damp and cigarettes, wet floors and sewage are something you enjoy. The rooms and the bed linen smell of damp sewage and old cheese. We moved room twice, rooms 142, 226, 434. The first room the air was damp and stank of cigarettes. We then found cigarette butts behind the sofa which explained the smell. The second room had a wet carpet - the toilet had clearly been leaking and reading other reviews this is an ongoing problem. The 3rd room smelt awful and the staff member obviously tried to cover up the smell with room freshener, the smell of sewage and damp fabric was horrible, also spotted blood on the sheets, but we just needed sleep at this point as it was getting late. The smell of damp cheese or as someone else said, damp raccoon, unfortunately seeped into our clothes and we could smell it all the way home. The lights in the third room didn’t work only the main light. I asked for a refund so we could book some where else but was refused on the grounds there was no manager there. It’s obvious this sort of thing happens regularly as the staff member gave us new keys straight away and didn’t even come with us to check the issues. not sure how anyone could rate this hotel 10/10 Yes the staff we pleasant enough but not enough that you can ignore the state of this out of date, damp, smelly and run down hotel

Do NOT stay here if you travel by train!
i messaged in advance to confirm I could get a shuttle at the nearby gare, but when I arrived and called the hotel, Jade refused and demanded that I walk. There is a huge set of treacherous steps at the gare and no lift. Impossible with 3 bags. Then more steps to climb over a highway. I hurt my knee, and it still hurts. Why travel anymore? Airports are a nightmare, trains get cancelled, and hotels like Novotel are worthless.

good location near big mall and airport
This hotel good for family it is friendly hotel, conveniently located close to airport, 50 Meters to CAP3000 Mall (with dining options), not to far from beach. The hotel offered welcome gift for kids at checkin, free parking open gate from Password, and pool. Breakfast was available at cost but we did not try it, perfect location.

Really nice hotel for short stays
We used this hotel as a stop over prior to driving to the South of the country. Free Airport are excellent and quick with friendly staff. The rooms are good however, a little harsh decor wise with textured concrete walls. The bathroom and toilet were clean however the format and age are showing. In summary the rooms are adequate and meet the needs of a short stay on the plus side the public areas are excellent fresh and modern.This coupled with a swimming pool grass leisure area, out door patio seating and a really nice outdoor seating area for meals and drinks. If further investment is made to updating the rooms then this would be more appealing for longer stays.

AC was underpowered, which made the room feel humid. Bathroom was slightly dirty, with visible areas of mildew. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, perfect for families
Very family friendly hotel, conveniently located close to airport, mall (with dining options), and beach with promenade (lined with restaurants). In the first room, we assigned to, had a very bad odor. When we called, they suggested air freshener!!. We didn’t accept that option because there could be mold in the room. They moved us to another room. There was NO AIR CONDITIONING and the temperature outside in the high 80. We found the room is beside the dinning room with lots of noise. It was a handicapped room. There was no shower structure except for the shower head. When you take a shower, the whole bathroom is full of water. There are shortage of outlets. To charge our phones and to use a van that they gave us, we had to move the small refrigerator in the room to get an access to electricity.

Arrived at 11:30pm. Reliable airport shuttle. Staff prepared meal for me upon arrival. Nice location. Had breakfast next morning on Promenade. Quick shuttle back to airport. A perfect stay!
